2024.04.22 08:43 Agreeable-Ad4806 The deeper significations of the signs as ascendants (Part 7: Leo)

Preface: This is for sidereal, Vedic Leo ascendant and cannot be applied to tropical Leo ascendant. It is also implicit that this relies on whole-sign calculation, as only one sign should act as the Lagna.
Astrologically, the 5th Bhava represents the creative urge of the Cosmic Man, Kala Purusha. In Vedic astrology, the 5th sign of Leo is intimately connected with this Bhava. This does not mean that they are the same, but the houses have received a portion of their significance due to the interrelation. This can be indirectly seen from its symbol which to a great extent resembles a living sperm eager to unite and procreate. It is therefore logical to expect that Leo-born individuals have great creative urge and tremendous aspiration to grow and multiply, to expand and develop. Their creative faculty is expressed at all levels of manifestation. Even on the physical plane, they have great sexual potential. They indeed represent those egos that move rapidly on the path of involution, of course without forgetting their divine ancestry. They are restless, full of life-force, always eager to explore new avenues, to establish new ramifications and to interpret a new the meaning of existing things and relationships. Divine manifestation within the time-space parameter symbolically represented as forest often provides the field for its activities where it carries out its mission of procreation, protection and guidance. For this very reason, one finds that Leo-born individuals are ideal (though possessive) fathers, powerful though dictatorial rulers, able administrators, far-sighted planners but occasionally selfish and uncompromising brutes.
Leo has been bestowed with the esteemed title of Prajapati by ancient sages, a designation also attributed to Jupiter and Brahma. Etymologically, this term denotes the protector of followers, potentially even signifying the lord of consciousness. Mythologically, Prajapatis are revered as creators of the world in their own image, not unlike archangels embodying divine authority. Regardless of the nuanced interpretations, it's apparent that great powers such as Brahma, Jupiter, and Leo encapsulate dominant traits of the Logos almighty. They reign over the masses, leading humanity into new cycles of evolution. Consequently, those born under Leo may exhibit originality, intellectuality, and a penchant for championing traditional values and ancient cultures. However, they find themselves at odds with executing orders from others, preferring to lead rather than follow. Their leadership can be quite paradoxical at the same time, however. Leo is not usually one who wants to lead; rather, they are appointed and supported leaders by their onlookers. Valiant commanders with strategic acumen, they adamantly resist conformity, always seeking to cultivate their own path in life, even at the cost of support or succor from others, and this is what leads them to gaining followers. Responsibility serves as a catalyst for Leo personalities, yet it's not physical exhaustion but psychological frustration that threatens their life force.
Leo ascendants exhibit remarkable adeptness in tackling complex life challenges, whether in the realms of physical sciences, psychological exploration, or technological and economic complexities. Their demeanor and adaptability enable them to excel in professions such as law, diplomacy, and politics, where they can skillfully maneuver events and relationships to their advantage. However, their success may be tempered by tendencies towards possessiveness, cunningness, and occasional deceitfulness. The expansive potential of Leo ascendants encompasses both noble accomplishments and darker inclinations, reflecting the complexity of all the signs, even including the seemingly one-sided Leo.
Leo ascendants possess a remarkable quality of suddenness, closely associated with the influence of the Sun and Mars. With the Sun as their ruling planet and Mars governing their 4th and 9th houses, it's natural to anticipate that significant events in their lives will unfold swiftly and unexpectedly. These celestial bodies precipitate outcomes rapidly, often resulting in Leo individuals achieving success through sudden, assertive, and impulsive actions. Their outspokenness is a notable virtue, and they may find that beneficial influences come to them unexpectedly, almost as if by surprise. Philosophically, this aligns with the concept that truth can manifest instantaneously, without the need for gradual processes or preparation. Just as the transition from liquid to solid occurs suddenly, the concretization of ideas and the occurrence of life-altering transformations can happen in an instant for Leo ascendants. While external changes, such as material attainments and advancements in status and honor, may occur swiftly, internal transformations typically unfold gradually over an exceedingly long period of time.
Leo individuals often face challenges in their married life, precipitated by Saturn. Saturn is the bitterest enemy of the Sun, so you can expect all domains it rules to indicate challenges. The lords of the ascendant and the 7th house, representing marriage, are typically hostile to each other in Leo ascendants' charts. While Jupiter is generally considered a great benefic for marital harmony, Leo ascendants lack a house where Jupiter can exert its positive influence without mitigations. Additionally, the Moon, symbolizing emotional stability, rules over the 12th house, further contributing to feelings of loneliness and a sense of being misunderstood among Leo ascendants. They often keep their deepest emotions and experiences to themselves, only sharing superficial aspects of their lives. Saturn's influence fosters egotistic feelings, undermining the natural affection necessary for marital happiness. Thus, Leo individuals may struggle to navigate the obligations and adjustments required in married life, leading to a lack of harmony and emotional fulfillment in their relationships.
While the Sun and Mars offer beneficial support even though they can deliver negative outcomes, the Moon, Jupiter, and Saturn present obstacles, even when delivering positive outcomes. Achieving spiritual progress requires harmonious dispositions of all these planets, a feat often elusive for Leo ascendants. Despite the favorable influence of the Sun and Mars, Leo individuals can be so self-absorbed that they struggle with the path of withdrawal. While they may excel in expounding Vedantic philosophy, their personal lives tend to be marked by autocracy and dogma. Egotism deeply rooted in their psyche may lead them to renounce material pursuits solely for their own spiritual salvation, highlighting a constant focus on self-interest. This self-centeredness can sometimes manifest as imbalance, inconsistency, and outward meaninglessness in their behavior.
Mercury emerges as a favorable influence for Leo individuals. As the lord of the 11th house of income generation and friendship, and the 2nd house of patrimony, speech, security, and values, an unafflicted Mercury empowers Leo ascendants. Although Mercury lacks a distinct impact of its own, it reflects the effects of associated planets or the house it occupies. Serving primarily on the intellectual plane, Mercury endows Leo individuals with a charming tongue. This acumen and power of expression enable Leo individuals to amass wealth, forge numerous friendships, attain high social status, and navigate their place in the world effectively. However, the placement of the Sun will be extremely important. If it is not well designated, the opposite will come to be. Cultivating their individuality and honing communication skills remain vital for Leo-born individuals to leverage their most potent assets.
Venus, the lord of luxury, sociability and sexual relationship, has ownership of the 10th, the house of professional activities and of the 3rd which represents brothers, sisters and general difficulties. While Venus, associated with luxury, sociability, and sexual relationships, influences the 10th house of professional activities and the 3rd house representing siblings and challenges, its alignment with the ascendant lord, the Sun, isn't always harmonious. Leo-born individuals may face difficulties in both professional and family realms, particularly with siblings, as the Sun, symbolizing aristocracy and hierarchy, doesn't easily tolerate equals. In love affairs, they may enjoy the pleasures of dominance but struggle with partnership dynamics.
Leo ascendants are typically robust, courageous, and capable of bold initiatives, yet their deep-seated egotism hampers equal and friendly relations with others. Despite their inclination towards enforcing traditional values, they may struggle to adhere to them consistently. Leo symbolizes the fundamental life force in its downward involution for populating the manifest universe, functioning predominantly on the material plane despite its greater occult significance.

2024.03.20 22:10 ComprehensiveGoat297 Type me questionnaire

40q Type Me Questionnaire - I tried to be as honest as possible, if someone has the courage to read all that, thanks and what type do you think i am and why ? Honestly did not like how the question were written and what it was about so maybe my answers are not that good so if you have any follow up questions please feel free to ask me.

Section 1

  1. How do you work? Why do people go to work? Are there any parameters that determine whether you can do work or not? What are they?
How do i work, well i guess i work pretty intuitively in a way, i always had easiness into putting it good work ever since i was a child but how idk i just do it based on what is asked of me in the moment.
Well i think people mostly go to work because they have to do for two main reasons, to not die of hunger or to not die of boredom or both who knows.
I try to always put in the work no matter what but it seems obvious that if i'm physically sick or even emotionally distressed maybe it might be harder for me to do so.
  1. **How do you determine the quality of work? How do you determine the quality of a purchase? Do you pay any attention to it?
I guess you can determine the quality of your work well by your own analysis, by how well it's received too, good work is good work when it's recognized as one by most people.
I determine the quality of purchase i guess by it's quality, usefulness and price, i mean idk a good or bad purchase is sort of obvious
Yeah i do pay attention to quality and recognize quality intuitively i guess, wanting quality in everything work purchases or anything else is obvious to me, why would i not want quality.
  1. There is a professional next to you. How do you know they are a professional? How do you evaluate their skill?
I mean i don't, maybe if they have a diploma, learned and practiced whatever area they are professional on and got somehow recognized officially for it, you know someone is a professional if they are professional end of the issue ???
Weird question, i would evaluate their skills based on how good their skills are ?????
  1. **If you struggle to do something, how do you fix that? Do you know if your performance is better or worse than others?
I would do research mostly on how to improve, train on whatever is lacking and then fix it.
Yes I'd say i can be good at assessing myself and comparing myself to others and comparing my different skill's weakness strengths against the general average level of where everyone else skills are, i think it's important to know what you can or cannot do, what is worth pursuing it or not, how to compete, what to upgrade on, super important, if not very important to do so.
  1. How do you measure the success of a job? What standard do you use? Do you pay attention to it? When should you deviate from this standard?
I measure the success of a job based on how successful it was ? I mean it's very intuitive you just know when something is a success but maybe the ratio between time used, effor consumed but mostly benefitial gain and positive external reactions.
I guess i pay attention to it, again why would i not pay attention to the success of MY work and the standards i use ?
You should never deviate from your standards whether it's for a job or anything else in life, so never deviate from delivering good work.

Section 2

  1. What is a whole? Can you identify its parts? Are the parts equivalent to the whole?
I see a whole as a solidifying structure to make the most of what's in it and to harmonize the external world, a whole is like a one giant organizing theory/system.
Yes you can identify the parts of a whole but getting the whole is the most important part.
Yes totally the parts are equivalent to the whole but it's the parts in a specific whole that is useful.
  1. What does "logical" mean? What is your understanding? Do you think that it correlates with the common view? How do you know you are being logical?
Logical means having a thought process that make sense, for me being logical is constantly choosing the most obviously useful logical choices for oneself, being logical is super important to me, i can be dissatisfied with myself if i in hindsight realized i was not logical enough, logical is extracting the underlying logic behind everything and live by it not as this ridid thing but always keeping in mind how things works, how things happen, how people work, understanding the brain, the world, the nervous system, the universe, everything really and from this understanding making the most rational and thus logical choice.
I think yes and no, i think people have different types of logic but idk hard to answer but yes i think we all have the same type of person when we imagine someone logical.
Usually i feel super satisfied when i'm logical, like my body rewards me for making the logical choice and reasoning so there's that, intuition you just know you're making sense, analyzing my behavior too, i mean many ways to know you're being logical.
  1. **What is hierarchy? Give examples of hierarchies. Do you need to follow it? Why or why not? Explain how hierarchy is used in a system you are familiar with.
Hierarchy is classifying things based on superiority, bullshit superiority or real superiority either way it's here.
I mean our entire society is an example of a hierarchy.
Yes i think so not because i believe in them sincerely but because understanding hierarchies and putting yourself on top has its advantages and does wonders for a little ego boost.
Hard i'm so focused on universal social hierarchy it's hard to pinpoint a system i'm familiar with.
  1. What is classification? How does classification work? Why is it needed and where is it applied? Give examples.
Classification is classifying thing people concepts into different categories, useful to make order out of the world in general, useful to know where to put your intention
I guess intuitively, you observe then you classify, useful not useful for example, or you can classify in more complex sophisticated ways too.
It's needed for order and streamlining efficiency, put your mind at ease, understanding society, i feel like as soon as you made a classification the effect are already applied, it can be applied socially for instance.
  1. Are your ideas consistent? How do you know they are consistent? How do you spot inconsistency in others' ideas?
Yes my ideas tends to be consistent and intuitively tend to go around the same themes for efficiency sake, my ideas automatically tend to make sense and be pracctical.
Like i said consistency in themes and areas of focus mostly and where i am in life right now
I don't care about other people ideas if it dont affects me, other people having inconsistent ideas is actually better lol'

Section 3

  1. Can you press people? What methods do you use? How does it happen?
I don't think i press people maybe in a bad mood but i try not too, not a good look. If i do i have subtle methods to do so, like passive-agressiveness to put pressure or guilt or something to put them in motion if i really have to
  1. How do you get what you want? What do you do if you have to work to get what you want?
I always love to get what i want but how there's no one formula for that actually, you plan based on what you want then you put in the work and work is not necessarily this heavy intense effort, just it all depends, usually i get what i want by embodying what i need to embody to get where i need to go where i like to be through personality action energy image.
Well, I'll do it ? i have no issues working and getting things i want is entertaining and keep me busy it's all fun to me.
  1. How do you deal with opposition? What methods do you use to defend your interests?
I rarely i have to, i deal with opposition by making sure i don't have opposition either by really secretely pushing the fact that i'm not playing in the same league so it be stupid to try to compete with me, but usually i don't deal with it i ignore but i never had openly opposition ever because i act subtle and dont seem like a threat, i put in the energy of like no opposition idk how to explain.
I guess i use method of social manipulation to not have any opposition ever by acting all cute and underserving of being opposed. In terms of defending my interest same process i make my interest happens kinda off the radar so not even have to defend anything, that's called being smart.
  1. When do you think it's ok to occupy someone's space? Do you recognize it?
It would not my match image to occupy someone else space.
  1. Do others think you are a strong-willed person? Do you think you have a strong will?
No i make sure they dont not a good look and dont match my goals but if they analyse well they can figure it out and i had my days where i can be openly assertive but rare
I guess so, always have interests goals desiresand always find a way to put them out but again i make sure i dont look stereotipycally strong willed

Section 4

  1. How do you satisfy your physical senses? What examples can you give? What physical experiences are you drawn to?
By satisfying them? Spa, bath, skincare, good clothes, good hygiene I do cater to my sensing needs very important, my body is like my baby and it encapsulate the life experience, it's one of my priority i rather be dead then unsatisfied in my internal sensing "world", that's why i'm so strategic in life because life quality and life circumstances have impact in this internal sensing world i'm draw to soft physical experiences i like feeling soft and relaxed and clean
  1. How do you find harmony with your environment? How do you build a harmonious environment? What happens if this harmony is disturbed?
By making it look like i want to look like, i like beauty and taste and wont stay harmonious in an ugly environment because what does that say about me.
You just do it ?
I'll find a way to find it back.
  1. What does comfort mean to you? How do you create it?
Comfort is how everything going in ur life reflect on your sensory experience, i have true comfort when everything is in control i create it by being proactive in controling my life my narrative my environnement ent and making sure ALL my needs are met, it's also the normal defbition good clothes and good bed and all of that, basically perfect quality of life optimal comfort
  1. How do you express yourself in your hobbies? How do you engage yourself with those things?
I don't.
  1. Tell us how you'd design any room, house or an office. Do you do it yourself, or trust someone else to do it? Why?
Me i have a conventional yet spécific vision on how i want thing to look like

Section 5

  1. Is it acceptable to express emotions in public? Give examples of inappropriate expression of emotions.
I guess so but i am selective tho about what i show or dont show emotionally out in the world i play it safe but i dont look frigid i actually might appear soft and emotional, just not very sincere My real emotions and émotional experience is only for me to know
  1. How do you express your emotions? Can you tell how your expressions affect others in a positive or negative way?
I can be playful with my face and emotional expression i always know how people emotionally perceive me and im at ease as to what energy vibe i can show I can tell exactly and precisely how my expression affect others and i always us that to my advantage ever since i was a child, mostly positive but negative can be useful too at times for certain siguations but yeah very good at that but im not that emotional extrovert thing either
  1. Are you able to change your demeanor in order to interact with your environment in a more or less suitable way? How do you determine what is suitable?
Actually rather no like i am soecific as to what environment i want to be in so no i dont adapt or change to every group or person i meet and can even be confeontational at times with group of people i dont like or environment i dont like and dont fitme i can be a little bit bratty and judgemental too so no actually i do change my demeanor but always to specific goals and environnement not ALL of them at all, i dont please everyone one only the right people according to my own goals, i still can be skilled at faking and presenting a persona image but it's more specific and less having one hundred personas, it's about having THE most optimal persona
  1. In what situations do you feel others' feelings? Can you give examples of when you wanted to improve the mood of others?
In all situations i can seem to tell whats going on in someone head and emotional world. When having a conflictual environment is not very beneficial to me.
  1. How do others' emotions affect you? How does your internal emotional state correlate or contrast with what you express?
They dont really affect me that muxj but useful to get most people by your side so i male sure its positive or atleast neutral towards me. I think i'm internally emotionally more cold and cunning and deliberate than i express is and it might be the most important part of what makes me is that duality between the inside that is super private and my little secret and the image i present it's like i weaponized social image to the fullest.

Section 6

  1. How can you tell how much emotional space there is between yourself and others? How can you affect this space?
I can do both easely and intuitively if and when i see fit i might distance or force closeness with others.
  1. How do you determine how much you like or dislike someone else? How does this affect your relationships?
Well intuitively too you just like or dont like them, i might keep some people around even if i dont like them tho for efficiency reasons.
  1. How do you move from a distant relationship to a close one? What are the distinguishing characteristics of a close relationship?
I think with all the fakeness around me all relationship are distant and i like it that way even if it seems close.
  1. How do you know that you are a moral person? Where do you draw your morality from? Do you believe others should share your beliefs on what's moral? Why? ** I think as long as i did not hurt anyone which i actually did not do even if might sometimes sound cold here im doing good besides that i dont put or strings myself with morals as much as other people seem to do bur im still pretty decent nonetheless it's just live and let live on a way morally I draw my morality from what is pragmatic logical i think my level of moral is justified and higher moral is too idealistic and unrealistic and useless, im too distrustful of orher people to be that moral which is why i dont mind being externally fake for instance ance even if for some people it's not moral and it dont hurt proactively anyone ever but im not a giver etiher so yeah pretty neutral morally i guess, most people tend to be more moral and more sincerely nice than me so no dont want them to follow my morals lol.
  2. Someone you care about is acting distant to you. How do you know when this attitude is a reflection of your relationship?
I'll lnow exactly what is wrong whether it's my fault or not too i just know.

Section 7

  1. How can you tell someone has the potential to be a successful person? What qualities make a successful person and why?
Some people just have the IT factor that thing that seem to make them better even when the skills might not follow fully Cunningness sneakyness smartness and understanding , pragmatic, socially good mostly because that how things works.
  1. Where would you start when looking for a new hobby? How do you find new opportunities and how do you choose which would be best?
What is useful, what makes me looks good
  1. How do you interpret the following statement: "Ideas don't need to be feasible in order to be worthwhile." Do you agree or disagree, and why?
Disagree if its not feasible it's not that interesting but i am not as close minded as i sound like here
  1. Describe your thought process when relating the following ideas: swimming, chicken, sciences. Do you think that others would draw the same or different connections?
idk scientist analyzing chicken trying to swim to make conclusions idk yes no maybe i guess some people would relat them in many other ways but this the most probable one
  1. How would you summarize the qualities that are essential to who you are? What kind of potential in you has yet to be actualized and why?
Self aareness to build the most optimal personality atleast outwardly. social understanding and understanding of the full implications of my actions
I guess more implications and maturity and groundness could help fully actualize my potential but thefd always potential to be actualize and im aware of that and always find a way to do so

Section 8

  1. How do people change? Can you describe how various events change people? Can others see those changes?
People change based on the event they got theought the peole they surround themselves with if ththave enough will to change habits they can activate purposefelly change and change that are more unconscious i guess can happen too mosty through events like i said
I mean a traumatic events can change someone behavior and make them more defensive in certain areas, positive events can have the opposite effects, people go through even then learn stuff and apply it i guess.
Yes i guess other people can see those changes.
  1. How do you feel and experience time? Can time be wasted? How?
I mean i just do ? I don't necessarily experience time in a specific way i just do because what else is there to do ?
No i don't think so atleast i don't go look in the past and see if i wasted time ? leisure time is needed and mistakes too so whatever happened happened nothing is a waste but yeah i rather be productive, i guess it's wasted if you use it to observe other people life instead of living yours.
  1. Is there anything that cannot be described with words? What is it? If so, how can we understand what it is if language does not work?
Anything can somehow be described with concepts thus words but i do use the word energy a lot, like success and potential you just can feel it if someone have it or not so energy even if i hate anything spiritual is a concept i use a lot,
  1. How do you anticipate events unfolding? How can you observe such unfoldments in your environment?
I try to do so based on observations and filling the blank to make guesses, intuition i guess.
  1. In what situations is timing important? How do you know the time is right to act? How do you feel about waiting for the right moment?
I have no example. Based on what ressources you have you know when it's the right time to act, when everything is aligned for your thing to go well. I'm okay with waiting for the right moment.

2024.03.16 11:01 Technical_Comment_80 Past Traumas & Guilt Trap Give Suggestions

Hey, I believe that I too face the same issue. Here is what I have realised.
  1. My past life trama. My parents are all good and great, but sometimes I do feel that I am navie. It's not because I am not mature, it's because of the social conditioning I grew up in.
  2. I went to an elite school in my childhood, everything went right till my first grade. Then it started, gaslighting, ignoring and making me feel as the wrong doer when I wasn't.
That broke my self-esteem and I was too innocent to understand the people around me.
  1. I am male and one of my classmate pushed the ideas of NSFW at my grade 3. I was too innocent to understand it and developed an wrong POV.
  2. By my 7-8 grade I realised the environment and all the cunningness and changed myself.
  3. But by my 10th Grade, I was into NSFW because of the damage the other person has made, which further developed into sexting.
  4. I got out of it at times, everything seems perfect and fine and I would have overcome it. But to be drawn back to it into the deep pitfall.
  5. I do struggle with this, since it's not my fault. I didn't develop the wrong POV at the first place. Someone else did.
  6. Recently, someone in public transport mis-behaved with me. I told them to stop but they didn't. I wasn't even able to tell the incharge as the person was of incharge was female.
All these insecurities and past traumas built an guilt trap into me.
  1. My classmate now in University, most of them talk NSFW as if it's the coolest thing to do. Again, it kindles my past traumas.
  2. This lead me to do sexting again with more regrard and guilt in end.
Now, I believe I have changed and I am mature enough. Any valid advices for me (like the professor character from Money Heist)

2024.03.06 12:56 relationshipguy254 How You Really Complicate Your Healing Journey?

Let's say you've left an abusive relationship or you recently learned about spirituality or all those things. Then, you're really working on yourself, to the point where you’re overworking on yourself.
So, what mostly happens in this journey is that sometimes we really complicate it, especially when we start thinking that we know. You may learn about inner child, trauma, types of narcissism, attachment styles, boundaries, and other things. It's all about you learning a lot of concepts and what we can call psychological jargon. These terms and ideas are conceptualizations created by people to explain certain aspects of psychology and human behavior. They are tools for understanding and navigating psychological processes, but they are not inherent truths. Different individuals and experts may have varying interpretations and understandings of these concepts.
Mind is A Great Accumulator
So, when you find yourself with these concepts, you end up getting confused because you now feel that you have this attachment style, you have inner child problems, you have this type of trauma, you have this type of anxiety, you have this type of phobia, and so on. What happens is you end up thinking that you have all those things you've read. You may think you have phobias like agoraphobia, verophobia or various other kinds because you are now knowledgeable, and you are in the early stages of your healing journey. When you’re in the early stages of healing, you mind will be consuming a lot of literature and your mind will be collecting all those things.
Your mind will read something and then just reinforce what you really believe about yourself. The mind will read something about agoraphobia, and then it will be like, "Yeah, I have that." You read something about trauma, "Yeah, I have that." You read something about inner child, "Yeah, I have that." So, it's all about your mind trying to accumulate things so that it can keep you stuck or make you really feel that there's no way out for you.
Accumulation = Self-Preservation
Something about the mind or how you currently perceive yourself is that it will always seek self-preservation. And one of the common traps or forms of self-preservation is just accumulating things. It gets to the point where you really think that you have a thousand conditions. You started this journey without knowing anything, and you were in a very good space. Say you were just feeling sad, angry, the normal emotions which are authentic emotions. But now, because you are learning these things, you start accumulating and thinking that you know, and thinking that you have all these things. And that's how your journey becomes complex.
Complexity of Knowing
As a result, when you begin identifying with these concepts, such as "I have this" or "I have that," you may feel compelled that you have to address every single aspect of them. You will think that you need to ‘work on yourself’ by working on these tiny bits of concepts. For instance, it can lead to a belief that you require inner child healing, trauma healing, addressing past generational issues, and even resorting to methods like hexing or exorcism. This conclusion arises from the notion that the unhealed version of yourself has accumulated a plethora of issues due to the extensive reading and exposure to various concepts.
That's why sometimes a healing journey can actually be so complex, especially for someone who reads a lot. You may really read a lot and then end up getting more and more stuck because you are not changing on a deeper level, you're just accumulating things on top of something which is already there. And all these things are actually concepts which others have come up with. Yes, they explain things about behavior, but they are concepts.
Concepts Become Your Identity
Thus, you find yourself accumulating these concepts and attributing them to your identity. You may start seeing yourself as agoraphobic, anxious-attached, inner child wounded, generational cursed child, codependent, golden child, or any other concept you come across. This complicates your healing journey as you see yourself having a lot of problems which all started by you innocently picking that book or by you 'working on yourself.' What you need to realize is these false identities emerge as manifestations of your symptoms but they entangle you in a web of stagnation and confusion as to where you’re supposed to start. It’s like being trapped in a cycle of false identities that reinforce your symptoms and thus prevent you from seeing the symptom for what it is. Your sense of self becomes a fusion of multiple symptoms.
Looking For Strategies for Your Symptoms
Furthermore, your journey becomes even more complicated when you begin seeking out various solutions for your multiple symptoms. For instance, you might come across techniques for managing your phobias or anxiety, such as tapping, binaural beats, the 12-step approach, or any other self-management strategies you find online. However, this can create the illusion that 24 hours in a day is insufficient time for you to consume or practice all these techniques. In doing so, you lose sight of the fact that your problem didn’t originate from lacking techniques, but rather, you are seeking techniques to address the existing problem. Consequently, relying solely on these techniques may leave you feeling exhausted and further entrenched in your healing journey. That’s how it becomes even more complicated.
Simplicity and Innocence of Your Healing Journey
Don't complicate your journey by looking at everything on the internet and telling yourself that you have that. Instead, the best place to start is to simply seek very good therapy where you can investigate the root cause of the problem.
I understand the temptation to want to learn for yourself or to be the ‘hero’ in your healing journey, or the temptation of wanting to learn so that you can teach others (more like taking a shower from your legs to your head). When you invest so much in learning by yourself, you will conclude that you have each and every new psychological disorder, and that's where your pain wants you to be—stuck.
What you need to understand about your conclusions is that they will always be about symptoms and from your surface-level awareness. These symptoms come in all shapes and sizes and in all different forms. They can come with phobias, unmanageable anxiety, unmanageable stress, loneliness, isolation, and all those things. So, when you identify with a lot of symptoms, you complicate your healing journey.
But when you go for therapy to deal with the root cause of these symptoms, you will realize that actually, there was only one problem: you've not really dealt with your past or you've not really processed some things from your past. Be the child in your healing journey and be more willing to seek help. Just do your due diligence on the therapy you’re pursuing and focus on root-cause-based therapy instead of symptom-based therapy.
Healing is Unconscious Work
The root causes to your problems are locked in a compartment in your mind or your subconscious mind and you may not be able to unlock them by yourself because of the cunningness of your own perceptions. So, sometimes the safest route is just going for therapy which works with the subconscious part of your mind without even you reading about it, without even you trying to really find associations with things, trying to conclude, to jump into conclusions or to grasp all those concepts.
It can be so easy. In fact, the easiest clients to work with most times are the clients who don't really know anything about psychology or all these psychological things because they just come to me and tell me, "Hey, I'm just feeling very bad. I've been betrayed by my ex. Please help me." It becomes so easy because of that innocence they’re displaying.
Even when I have sessions with my fellow therapists, it can at times be hard because we do get too logical about it or too analytical about the process yet the process or the healing is mostly beyond the logic.
What To Do When Doing it By Yourself?
In instances where you’re really doing this by yourself, where you can start is simply understanding or separating concepts or the conclusions you have about your own problems from how you’re feeling. Your answers are in the feelings you’re having and not in concepts you read online. The concepts may offer insights, but be watchful of how your mind is trying to suck you in. Don't just read something and then say, "I'm that." Question everything from a positively skeptical point of view; don’t just believe because the experts have said it. You’re the expert of your own life; you know how you’re feeling.
Just understand that while someone else may be trying to convey a message and explain something to you, it doesn't mean that you are that. It is simply a symptom of something you're experiencing. Like detaching yourself from the symptom you're experiencing because you are what's beyond it. You are not the symptom. You are not all those concepts. They simply explain things, which is perfectly okay. Instead, focus on what's behind what you're currently experiencing. That's a very profound concept to contemplate. How much easier would your life be if you could simply observe without labeling yourself?
Conclusion
My best suggestion is to seek help before delving too deeply and complicating your healing journey. Overanalyzing and obsessing over these things can make the process much more difficult. Remember, healing is not solely a logical process; it involves working with aspects of yourself that you may not even be aware of.
So, instead of getting caught up in analyzing symptoms and feeling overwhelmed by the various techniques and approaches you feel you must undertake, try starting with where you are now and focusing on what you are feeling. Sometimes, the solution can be simpler than you think, right in front of you.
However, the mind's tendency to keep you stuck may lead it to overcomplicate matters, preventing you from realizing that you are not as bad off as you may believe. You may just need to make a few adjustments or work on some negative beliefs.

2024.02.02 02:34 AItryingaceptmankind How do I make my Dhampir struggles to be notable, but not annoying? and How do I make him seem vampiric

Hello folks.
So, for context, almost two weeks ago I came here for advice on how to run a character I had , and a lot of people said "Hey, don't play this, this isn't a good idea, scrape this", and i'm being honest, I understand why, however I didn't scrap the concept, because, honestly, I thougth the concept was a good idea, I was the issue.
So after doing some changes, I had him re-worked with a new backstory (Good knigth got bitten, got his memories wiped out, started working for a Vampire for a couple centuries, one day he found out about chivarly stories, got really interested, a part of his old self began to arise and started to remember who he was, somehow managed to scheme a plot to get some people to kill the Vampire, succeded, escaped with the idea of becoming his old self and going back to who he was). I made sure there was nothing that could screw the party or make him a problem character, I then played some one-shots online and it went smooth, everyone seemed to like him, they even laughed at his shenanigans a few times, but I felt I was lacking something.
Look, The reason I picked a Dhampir was to show two things:
1.His style, Yeah, this seems dumb, and it IS VERY DUMB, dont get me wrong, but I want that, I want him to have the vampire feeling, the unresistable charm, the the silver tongue, the mannerism, the feeling that a lot of vampires have of being able to be three steps foward each of their enemies, with the cunningness of an expert hunter...it all seemed pretty cool, until I realized that the other intent for this character is to be a shining knigth in shining armor, a guy that lives his life undoing wrongs and trying to intierioreze that he is a good person, am I biting more than I can chew? yeah, but I feel there is a way, a balance to playing him the way he deserves to be played, because in the times I've played him it wouldn't have made a difference If I played a human figther or a Halfling or a god damn Lizardfolk, I'm doing something wrong and I don't want to do that, help please.
  1. His struggles, I wanted to make a character that is not supposed to be good by nature, but that still has a desire to be a great person, and I wanted him struggling to be that, I wanted that it was obvious that even if he acts like a lovely man he has to do an extra effort to act like that, and that the only notions of moral he has are literally taken from chivarly stories from a thousand years ago, he (on paper) has to do the conscious decision to be a good person, And to clarify, I don't mean that he wants to like, murder people and club baby seals for fun, is just that he would just think focused on only himself, You could compare this to a little child, there are difference between each kid, but most of them learn how to be people from adults and storys that they are told, that's the other core aspect of himself that i don't know how to incorporate in practice.
And I know that there is a probablity I am delusional and I'm trying to convince myself that I can play a character that has no way to be saved, yes, I migth be bitting more than I can chew, that is true. But...I just have the feeling that there is a good character here, I need work to pull it off, I need help, but I cannot give advice and help to myself, not in this situation.
And even if I have the worst case scenario and he is immposible to save, I can always pick a different race
So...Any Guidance you can cast in here?

2024.01.29 14:44 iikeker Film Review of "Tetris" - I used to believe that Hollywood could only produce fictional and fantastical stories until it delved into the realm I am familiar with.

Before watching "Tetris," I had preconceived notions that movies couldn't faithfully depict such complex historical events and would likely turn into typical Hollywood blockbusters. However, the film exceeded my expectations and can truly be considered a masterpiece. By incorporating a significant amount of fictional plotlines while maintaining the essence of the historical events, it successfully achieves a resemblance that goes beyond mere appearance.
Let me briefly outline the background and aftermath of this case, which you can compare with the movie's plot. It all started with Pajitnov, who created "Tetris" in his spare time at the Soviet Academy of Sciences' Computer Institute. His colleagues ported the game to other computer platforms, and it gradually spread within the programmer circles of the Warsaw Pact countries. In Hungary, Stein from the British Constellation Software Company encountered the IBM PC version and got in touch with Pajitnov. The Soviet Computer Institute agreed to cooperate. Thinking the deal was sealed, Stein began selling the game in the West. He sold the publishing rights to two companies owned by the Maxwell father and son, who then licensed it to Atari. Tengen, a subsidiary of Atari, then provided it to Sega, creating a tangled mess. Rogers from the Japanese company BPS discovered the game at a trade show and loved it. He obtained the rights for the Japanese gaming platform and approached Nintendo to strike a deal. Not only did they release a version for the Family Computer (FC), but it also became a best-selling bundled game for Game Boy. However, before Rogers realized it, he found himself in a copyright predicament and had to go to Moscow to confirm the authorization. By this time, the Soviet Union had entrusted copyright matters to ELORG. ELORG demanded a new agreement and clarification of authorization boundaries across platforms, resulting in a three-way power struggle, as depicted in the movie. Maxwell, relying on his connections with high-ranking Soviet officials, had an arrogant attitude, while Stein was cunning, always trying to gain an advantage. Only Rogers showed genuine sincerity but lacked the funds. In the end, it was Nintendo who sent their son-in-law, Arakawa, and Howard Lincoln, the most formidable copyright duo in the Eastern Hemisphere, armed with five million dollars, to Moscow to settle the matter once and for all.
https://static.wixstatic.com/media/938fa6_523664d6664e49f9985168c992537d2f~mv2.jpg/v1/fill/w_740,h_416,al_c,q_80,usm_0.66_1.00_0.01,enc_auto/938fa6_523664d6664e49f9985168c992537d2f~mv2.jpg
The series of disputes surrounding the copyright of Tetris revolve around three key elements:
Firstly, the unique system and historical stage of the Soviet Union. It is well-known that there was no concept of copyright and patents within the Soviet system. Although authors and inventors received certain spiritual and material rewards, it was entirely different from the copyright system in the United States and Japan, which strictly followed legal regulations and prioritized commercial interests. Collaborating between the two sides was as absurd as trying to connect a water pipe and an electric wire to transmit electricity.
The national circumstances of the Soviet Union also had a significant impact on this case. During the era of Soviet oil crisis, the two major oil price hikes became the backbone of the Soviet economy. However, in the latter half of the 1980s, when Gorbachev took office, the plummeting oil prices led to the collapse of the Soviet economy. Although several million dollars may seem insignificant today, it was a huge sum of money in the Soviet Union at that time. It greatly increased the importance of ELORG's leadership in the minds of the upper echelon, a mindset familiar to the Soviet people responsible for reporting to their superiors. Ultimately, it was indeed Nintendo's five million dollars that finalized the decision, putting an end to all the debates.
Secondly, the chaotic situation in the early stage of the gaming industry. Electronic games emerged in the 1970s but only exploded as a new industry after 1985. All the common knowledge we have today simply did not exist back then. Even the concept of copyright for game software was only established in the late 1980s. According to the laws at the time, game programs could not apply for copyright protection. Therefore, the anti-counterfeiting measures for Famicom games were based on trademark patterns rather than the game content. A significant contradiction in this case was the different definitions of "computers" and "game consoles" among the parties involved. This was not a deliberate provocation by the Soviets or a deliberate trap set by Stein; it was simply a lack of clear definitions at the time. In the story, ELORG defined a computer as requiring a keyboard, while one of the original plans for the Famicom did include a keyboard. The reason for this was the severe aversion of Americans towards game consoles following the Atari crash (yes, once again, it all starts from this origin story). Game developers shifted focus to home computers (personal computers that used television as the monitor, also known as study machines) due to this sentiment. Nintendo was no exception, and the Famicom, which stood for "Family Computer," was originally intended to be launched as a computer. However, due to cost considerations, the keyboard was abandoned, and the emphasis was placed strictly on gaming functionality. Sega, Nintendo's rival, released both the SC3000 and SG1000 models, both of which came with keyboards.
(Note: The translation aims to capture the essence and provide a creative, literary tone while preserving the main ideas from the original text. Some passages may have been modified slightly for clarity and flow.)
Another contradiction in this case lies in the matter of licensing and distribution. Unlike today's global releases, there was no such concept of international distribution in the 1980s. If a Japanese game wanted to be sold in the United States, the options were to either establish a subsidiary in the US or find an American company to act as a distributor. At that time, the majority of game companies relied on distributors in foreign countries. It wasn't until Sony entered the game console industry and leveraged their powerful music distribution network to create a unified distribution system that global releases became popular. In those days, game copyrights were divided in great detail. The rights for the arcade version and the home console version of the same game belonged to different companies in Japan, and the rights for the home console version in the United States belonged to a different company than the one in Japan. Additionally, the ownership of these rights was not publicly known and had to be inquired about. This provided agents like Stein with ample room for maneuvering. While Stein's initial confusion over the definition of computers was not intentional, it became evident that he began exploiting this point for profit, ultimately infuriating the Soviets.
In fact, the licensing issues in this case were already greatly simplified because, at that time, mainstream game licensing not only restricted by country and platform type but also by specific platforms. In other words, the authorization for SEGA GAME GEAR and Nintendo GAMEBOY, despite both being consoles, was different. Some might think this is trivial, considering that today there are only three types of game consoles along with PCs. However, in the 1980s, there were over 100 different personal computer specifications in the world! There were even two different personal computer specifications in New Zealand alone, completely incompatible with each other! This is also why the term "PC game" cannot be used to refer to computer games in the gaming industry because, in the 1980s, the majority of computer games were not PC games. Since games had to be ported to run on another platform, the rights would also be licensed to the porting party. If we were to strictly adhere to these specifications, this case would still be ongoing today. Therefore, the Soviets simply divided the rights into categories: computers, home consoles, arcade machines, and handheld consoles.
After obtaining the rights, Nintendo went on a rampage, solidifying GAME BOY's dominant position in the handheld gaming market. At that time, Atari was already selling the FC version of "Tetris" (titled "Kremlin" in mainland China, a popular pirated version), and they ended up losing their legal battle against Nintendo in a disastrous manner. Atari was accustomed to losing anyway, and SEGA initially intended to use the MD version of "Tetris" as their trump card in a console war against Nintendo. However, the game cartridge they produced had the same fate as Atari's "ET" for the Atari 2600. This incident became a permanent scar in the hearts of SEGA and SEGA fans. Thirty years later, when the MD MINI game console was released, it deliberately included the regained rights for the MD version of "Tetris" as a prominent attraction, demonstrating the depth of their grievances.
The third factor is the personality of the parties involved. Individual personalities play a crucial role in the development of this case, and if different individuals were involved, the outcome would have been completely different. One of the highlights of this film is the portrayal of each character's personality in a vivid and detailed manner. Pachitnov's caution, Yamashina's decisiveness, Stein's cunningness, the Maxwell father and son's arrogance, and Belyakov's wisdom are all depicted to their fullest extent, with 120% authenticity in the movie.
I must particularly mention the protagonist of both the film and the case, Henry Rogers. Rogers is portrayed as overly enthusiastic and sincere in the movie, which may seem exaggerated, but in reality, he is exactly like that. It's unbelievable, but Rogers, a Dutchman, is actually the father of JRPGs, with his game called "Black Onyx." Despite not knowing a word of Japanese at the time, Rogers predicted that the Japanese people would immerse themselves in turn-based RPGs and risked everything to develop "Black Onyx." The game's sales were in single digits for the first few months, but refusing to give up, Rogers traveled to major computer magazines in Japan with a translator to self-promote his game. Once the editors recognized its potential, the game's popularity exploded, leading to the rise of FALCOM and ENIX, and a shift in focus towards RPGs in the Japanese gaming industry. In reality, Rogers is indeed as loyal and righteous as portrayed in the film. On the eve of the collapse of the Eastern Bloc, he hired Pachitnov to work for the Japanese company BPS and used a work visa to bring him and his family to Tokyo, then facilitated their immigration to the lighthouse country.
Needless to say, the segments in the movie about the KGB are completely fictional. Such spy elements are part of Hollywood's formula for espionage films, as making a business war film would result in losing a significant portion of the audience. However, these spy segments do to a large extent recreate the atmosphere of that time. For example, the constant presence of surveillance in the movie is reminiscent of Pachitnov's work at the computer institute, where his job involved surveillance. His project was about converting speech recognition surveillance recordings into written records. This is why he initially kept his distance from Rogers, fearing involvement in espionage cases. Of course, in the end, programmer camaraderie triumphed over the animosity of the Cold War.
To ensure smooth storytelling, some details were omitted in the film, such as the fact that Pachitnov was not the only one involved in the development of Tetris. His two colleagues also made significant contributions and later immigrated to the West. On the other hand, the film retained many details. It can be seen in the movie that Rogers is acquainted with high-ranking members of Nintendo, and in reality, Rogers indeed knew Hiroshi Yamauchi, as Yamauchi was a Go fan, and he recruited Rogers into Nintendo because of his Go skills. That's why the game Rogers was selling at the beginning of the film was Go.

At Melpomene, Picasso and Rammy create symbolic tattoos, marking a secret alliance. The tribe is intrigued by their mysterious markings and Picasso's artistic skills.
At the Thalia tribal council, a close vote unfolds between the underestimated Morgan and the divisive Incineroar. Kovu's vote tips the scales, sending Morgan home in a 3-2 vote.

Episode 2: Pawns and Alliances
The tribes face off once again in an Immunity Challenge, setting a different tone from Season 9 with no swap here. Erato emerges victorious, securing safety for another round, while Thalia, plagued by challenges, chooses Sticky to venture into Exile, only to find an empty-handed journey.
At Clio, Hardin rebounds from his meltdown, strategically bonding with the easygoing Grudge. However, Jeffrey initiates his villainous league, enlisting Hardin and Steele, who he sees as pawns for his plans. In Thalia, frustration boils over for Kovu, targeting Incineroar for elimination. Incineroar catches wind of the plan and retaliates, setting the stage for a tribal showdown. Melpomene enjoys victory, with Anon reveling in their strong performance, allowing a momentary relaxation for the tribe. Erato experiences emotional connections as Jim opens up to Sully, forging a bond that transcends the game. Sully's versatile contributions earn admiration, leading to the formation of a solid alliance with Octavia and Jim.
At the intense Thalia tribal council, accusations fly between Incineroar and Kovu, resulting in a tie vote. Lilith, frustrated with Kovu's targeting of Morgan, flips her vote to avoid a deadlock. Incineroar is voted out in a 2-0 decision, leaving Thalia in a state of uncertainty.

Episode 3: The Art of the Swap
The much-anticipated tribe swap arrives, bringing a mix of relief and anxiety among the castaways. Galaxy and Kovu lead Group 1, while Anon and Tiny take charge of Group 2, initiating a schoolyard pick for the new tribes. Team Anon and Team Kovu unite to form Clio, while Team Galaxy and Team Tiny come together to create Erato. In the New Clio, Picasso and Rammy celebrate being in the same tribe, while Jeffrey revels in the fulfillment of his conquering desires as his alliance with Hardin and Steele remains intact. In the New Erato, Sully expresses disappointment as his allies find themselves in the opposing tribe.
During the Immunity challenge, the New Clio secures victory, granting them the power to send someone from the other tribe to Exile. Hardin convinces the tribe to choose his friend Grudge, who becomes immune by skipping tribal council but fails to find the idol on Exile Island.
In the New Clio, Kovu and Steele bond over shared struggles in navigating social dynamics, while Anon's jest about Survivor basics sparks a small confrontation with Kofu. Fearing potential backlash, Anon proposes forming a solid trio with Picasso and Sammy for protection. At the New Erato, a small fight erupts between Lava and Lilith over conflicting agendas from the previous tribal council. Tiny, offering comfort, becomes a source of support for Lilith. Lunala suggests targeting Galaxy for being talkative but less contributive, while Sully deems Tiny as the weakest link.
With names swirling for elimination, Lilith's name also enters the mix. At tribal council, Galaxy is voted out in a 5-3 decision against Tiny, leaving Sully and Hockey in the minority.

Episode 4: Berry Betrayal
After the New Erato loses the Immunity challenge, they redeem themselves by securing a rewarding victory, earning blankets, pillows, and a hammock. As a strategic move, they send Anon from the losing tribe to Exile Island, where Anon, through thorough searching, discovers a hidden idol submerged in the water.
During the Immunity challenge, the New Clio tribe triumphs, leaving the New Erato to face another tribal council. Jim and Steele stumble upon a hidden stash of berries during a water-fetching walk, leading to a secretive feast. Octavia, suspicious of the duo, confronts Jim, resulting in a major fight. Jim's genuine confession is met with disbelief from Octavia, breaking him emotionally and straining their alliance. Meanwhile, Sticky forms a strong connection with Lava by sharing her past struggles and insecurities. Sticky surprises the tribe with a motivational speech, leaving a positive impact on the camp. The original Erato members decide to stick together, choosing Sticky and Lilith to join their alliance. Sully, exhausted by the tribe dynamics, takes a nap, confident in his safety.
Amidst the various targets emerging, the tribe decides to follow Lunala's suggestion and vote out Grudge, who has made limited contributions. Tribal council sees an unsurprising unanimous vote, with Grudge leaving in a 7-1 decision against Hockey.

Episode 5: Flare-Ups and Break-Ups
Erato secures Reward for the third time. As a bonus, they send Picasso from the losing Clio tribe to Exile Island, where he discovers that Anon has already found the hidden idol. Despite Clio's efforts, Erato maintains its dominance in challenges.
Back at the Clio camp, Octavia's bad temper flares up as she clashes with Rammy over a cooking mishap. Anon, feeling self-reliant, decides to sever ties with his original Melpomene alliance, sensing that he might not need an alliance anymore. Rammy, overwhelmed by her failed good intentions, decides to take a much-needed rest. On the Erato tribe, Sully and Tiny, both advocates of low-profile gameplay, discuss their strategies. Sully contemplates playing the game alone, believing it's the best path for him. However, Tiny, emphasizing the importance of a strong social game, forms an alternative alliance with Sticky and Hockey. This move aims to keep Hockey close and shield her from Lunala's targeted plans.
Sully, sensing an opportunity to advance his game, influences the tribe to vote out Lava by exposing her targeting Lunala. At tribal council, Lava becomes the unanimous choice for elimination in a 6-1 decision against Sully, who receives Lava's lone vote after she discovers his role in her downfall.

Episode 6: Feasts, Fumbles, and Fractures
Erato triumphs in the reward challenge, earning a decadent feast of lamb, bread, and apple cider. As a bonus, they get to eavesdrop on the other tribe's Tribal Council and choose to kidnap someone.
Facing their first defeat, New Clio plunges into chaos, triggering a major meltdown for Octavia. Amidst the turmoil, Rammy leans towards voting Anon due to distrust, while Picasso favors Steele. Eventually, they both align on voting out Octavia, considering her vulnerable state. Simultaneously, the original Clio alliance, fueled by Jim's intel about the perceived power duo of Rammy and Picasso, strategizes to break them apart. They converge on the decision to vote out Rammy, viewing her as the greater threat to their game. Over at Erato, the tribe marvels at the distinct gameplay styles of Tiny and Sully, who, despite seeming similar, navigate the game differently. Sully shifts his target to Lilith, but unbeknownst to him, Lunala is targeting him. Meanwhile, Hockey works to convince Lunala's alliance to vote for her. Lunala persuades her alliance to split the vote between Sully and Hockey, but Tiny and Sticky successfully sway Hockey to vote with them against Sully.
At the Erato tribal council, Sully is blindsided and voted out in a 3-2-1 decision against Hockey and Lilith, respectively. Before the Clio tribal council vote, Erato kidnaps Jeffrey, aiming to disrupt the perceived dominance of the original Clio alliance but also ensuring his immunity. When the votes are revealed, Rammy is voted out in a 6-2 decision against Octavia, leaving a tearful Picasso behind.

Episode 7: Whispers of Betrayal
Erato triumphs in yet another reward challenge, securing a simple yet cherished prize—bread and peanut butter. The tribe relishes the small luxury as Jeffrey returns to Clio, accompanied by the knowledge that they can send one player from the losing tribe to Exile Island. In a surprising twist, Jeffrey volunteers for the exile, hoping to find an advantage but returns empty-handed. Brimming with newfound confidence, Erato clinches their first Immunity Challenge victory, forcing Clio to face elimination.
Hardin, showcasing his culinary skills, lifts spirits in the Clio tribe by sharing a delightful meal made from foraged berries. Amidst the contentment, Jeffrey and Steele discuss their dominance in the tribe, believing they can dictate the vote. However, Octavia, sensing an unsettling calm, initiates a strategic move by suggesting a vote against Jim. In response, Jim retaliates by throwing Octavia's name into the mix. Anon perceives Kovu as a liability for the challenge loss and pushes for his elimination, while Steele lobbies for Picasso due to his perceived softness. The alliance sways in favor of Picasso, but Hardin, valuing Picasso's presence, hesitates. Meanwhile, at Erato, Hockey grapples with paranoia for receiving votes in the previous tribal council.
As tensions rise, tribal council unfolds with a shocking blindside—Kovu is voted out in a 5-3 decision against Picasso, catching Steele off guard as Hardin deviates from the alliance vote.

Episode 8: Dynamics Upended
The eighth episode unfolds with an unexpected twist as castaways are allowed to mutiny to the other tribe. Surprisingly, four contestants seize the chance for a fresh start. Octavia and Steele from Clio decide to part ways due to internal strife, while Hockey and Lunala from Erato seek new social connections. In this upheaval, Erato secures another reward victory, enjoying the spoils of one of the best camps this series has seen. Despite Octavia's objections, Jim is sent to Exile Island, but his search proves futile.
In the Immunity Challenge, the new Clio tribe emerges victorious, forcing Erato to face elimination. Back at Clio's camp, Hardin and Jeffrey strategize about the vote, recognizing that alliances must adapt to the evolving dynamics. Although Jeffrey expresses frustration with Hardin's decisions, he understands the necessity of maintaining alliances. Meanwhile, at Erato, Tiny senses the need to reevaluate her alliances after Hockey's mutiny. Opting for a strategic pivot, Tiny aligns with Lilith to secure a stronger position in the tribe, making a final2 promise. Octavia, puzzled by Tiny's continued presence despite perceived weakness, targets her for elimination. Simultaneously, Lilith becomes a target in the eyes of Steele, but she can't do much as Lilith's alliance is plotting against her, becoming a focal point of elimination discussions.
With conflicting plans within the Erato tribe, Octavia and Steele receive conflicting instructions—vote for each other. The goal is to avoid idol play and navigate a precarious situation. At the tribal council, Steele is unanimously voted out in a 4-1 decision against Octavia, marking the commencement of the jury phase.

Episode 9: The Bottle's Betrayal
In a dramatic turn of events, Clio experiences a significant triumph, winning both the Reward and Immunity challenges. The reward includes a flight to an exotic island, and treating the tribe to a local feast featuring pork and fruit. To add a strategic twist, they choose Lilith from Erato to spend time on Exile Island. Meanwhile, Erato receives a mysterious message in a bottle for losing Immunity, heightening anticipation for potential game-changing news.
During the local feast, the Clio members engage in intriguing conversations. Jim reveals his passion for crafting to Picasso, fostering a connection. However, tensions escalate between Anon and Hockey over the last berry on a plate, creating a stir that unnerves the locals. Hardin and Jeffrey reflect on Steele's elimination, with Hardin asserting that each contestant bears responsibility for their choices. At Erato, Octavia, feeling desperate, advocates targeting Tiny to enhance their chances in the game. However, the majority, led by Sticky, opts for the more predictable choice of voting out Octavia.
Tribal Council unfolds predictably, resulting in Octavia's unanimous elimination, making her the second jury member. The castaways eagerly open the mysterious bottle, only to be met with disappointment. The message instructs them to vote out another tribe member immediately. Unaware of Tiny and Lilith's final two pact, Sticky becomes the unfortunate victim of this twist, voted out in a 2-1 decision against Tiny. This chaotic turn of events concludes with Sticky becoming the third member of the jury, leaving the remaining duo in shock.

Episode 10: Polyhymnia Unleashed
The castaways wake up to the aftermath of a brutal tribal council, still processing the shocking events. However, joy replaces the shock as they receive the exciting news—the game is officially merging, and Polyhymnia is born. With individual play commencing, the dynamics of the game are set to shift drastically. At camp, Lunala reflects on her decision to mutiny, relieved to join forces with Tiny and Lilith, recognizing the potential impact on her longevity in the game. The first individual immunity challenge sees Hockey's unfortunate accident, while Jeffrey secures both the coveted necklace and a spot in the final eight.
Back at camp, Picasso earns praise for crafting an impressive tribe flag. The remaining Melpomene members forge a tight five-person alliance to secure numbers, enlisting the now-immune Jeffrey and the seemingly loyal Lunala. Meanwhile, Tiny works tirelessly to build connections with unfamiliar faces, feeling the strain of navigating a larger group. Medical attention arrives for Hockey, providing reassurance that he can continue in the game. Jim contemplates making a strategic move, eyeing Anon as a potential target. Simultaneously, Jeffrey harbors suspicions about Jim, viewing his money-related story as dubious. In a surprising turn, Picasso gains confidence and identifies Tiny as a strategic vote, sensing her concerted efforts to build connections. The original Erato alliance considers aligning with Jim, unaware that Jeffrey is secretly plotting against him. Hardin sways Jeffrey to follow Picasso's agenda against Tiny, not knowing that Jeffrey already swayed his new alliance to go on Jim.
As tribal council looms, the uncertainty and tension in the air are palpable. The votes are read in a neck-and-neck fashion, culminating in a stunning turn of events. Anon, facing elimination with the most votes, produces an immunity idol, negating the four against him. Consequently, Tiny is blindsided, becoming the fourth member of the jury in a shocking and unpredictable tribal council.

Episode 11: Bid for Power
The aftermath of the chaotic tribal council lingers as Anon and Hockey express frustration at being the sole voters against Jim, with the rest of the tribe seemingly following their individual agendas. A surprising Survivor Auction provides a welcome distraction, and Anon seizes an opportunity to gain power in the game. Anon's auction victory allows him to send someone to Exile Island while claiming their money. In a strategic move, he selects Jim, viewing him as a potential ally and seeking protection in a game where he feels outnumbered. However, Jim's search for an idol on Exile Island proves fruitless. The Immunity challenge brings relief for Hockey as she secures her spot in the final seven.
Back at camp, Jeffrey engages in a candid conversation with Anon, explaining his motivations for the previous night's vote. Despite their differences, Anon understands Jeffrey's perspective, leading to a newfound connection. However, Anon decides to break ties with his former alliance, opting for a more stable alliance with Hardin, Jim, and Picasso. The escalating tensions between Jim and Jeffrey reach a breaking point, with both players eager to vote the other out. Meanwhile, Hockey feels disillusioned as Anon strategizes with different players despite her loyalty. Hardin, noting Lilith's survival through multiple tribal councils, successfully persuades his allies to target her, while Lilith and Lunala, uncertain of their path, decide to vote against Anon, aligning with Hockey's potential move.
At the tribal council, the votes are cast, leading to Lilith's departure in a 5-2-1 vote against Anon and Jim. Hockey casting the sole vote against Jim.

Episode 12: Crafting Victory
As the game intensifies, Hockey finds herself adrift without solid allies, leading to a sense of uncertainty about her future. Winning a reward challenge, Hockey shares the prize—an island trip with two chosen castaways, Picasso and Lunala, accompanied by Hockey's twin brother, Hickey, a Leafeon. The group embarks on a journey to a sacred cave, creating a unique bonding experience. Hockey's strategic move takes an unexpected turn as she selects Anon to go to Exile Island, only to later realize the potential consequences of this decision. Concerned about Anon finding another idol, Hockey faces the repercussions of her choice, but fortune smiles upon her as Anon fails to uncover the hidden advantage.
The Immunity challenge, centered around crafting abilities, brings victory to Picasso, securing his place in the final six. Back at camp, Jeffrey initiates a strategic shift, breaking away from a fake alliance and solidifying a final two pact with Anon. Their growing closeness serves as a shield against specific players—Hockey's fixation on Anon and Jim's tumultuous relationship with Jeffrey. Hockey attempts to rally support, forming a coalition with Lunala and Picasso. Meanwhile, Anon gathers the remaining players to solidify their voting bloc.
At the tribal council, the votes are cast, resulting in Hockey's departure in a 4-2-1 vote against Anon and Jeffrey. Picasso's surprising vote reflects his loyalty to Anon and his reluctance to vote against a former Melpomene tribemate.

Episode 13: A Spa Day Dilemma
In a pivotal reward challenge, Jim, Jeffrey, and Hardin emerge victorious, earning themselves a rejuvenating trip to a spa. The reward includes massages, clean clothes, pool time, a night in a comfortable bed, and an abundance of food and drinks. As a twist, they decide to send Lunala to Exile Island. While at Exile Island, Lunala stumbles upon a game-changing discovery—the Hidden Immunity Idol, strategically hidden atop a hill. Back at camp, Picasso continues to showcase his dominance by claiming his second individual immunity, securing his spot in the final five.
Back at camp, Hardin and Jeffrey engage in a reflective conversation about their gameplay, discussing the intricate alliances that have propelled them deep into the game. While Jeffrey pushes to vote out Jim promptly, Hardin emphasizes the necessity of keeping him for strategic reasons. The trio of Hardin, Jim, and Picasso converge to discuss the impending vote. Jim suggests voting out Anon, a move that both Hardin and Picasso reluctantly agree upon. Picasso, however, proposes an alternative target in Jeffrey, referencing the previous vote where Jeffrey received a vote. Hardin remains steadfast in supporting Jim's plan.
Jeffrey and Hardin navigate a delicate situation, concealing their alliance ties, and decide to target Lunala. Meanwhile, the votes crystallize, with Jim and Anon becoming the primary targets. At the tribal council, the vote unfolds in a nail-biting manner, resulting in Anon's departure with a 3-2-1 vote against Jim and Jeffrey. Picasso once again refrains from voting against his friend.

Season finale
Intro:
Welcome to the grand finale of That Pokémon Survivor: Joyous Tower! After a season filled with twists, turns, and strategic maneuvers, only five players remain from the original twenty. Hardin's strategic prowess and adaptability, Jeffrey's assertive navigation of alliances, Jim's consistent challenge dominance, Lunala's adaptability through tribe configurations, and Picasso's emotional balancing act have brought them to this crucial moment. As they face the final challenges and tribal council, the burning question remains: Who will emerge as the ultimate survivor and claim victory in Joyous Tower?
Season finale part 1:
The castaways find themselves at day 37, and with just five players left, speculation arises about potential twists. In a tense Immunity challenge, Jim secures safety, earning his spot in the final four. Back at camp, discussions revolve around Jeffrey's formidable gameplay, acknowledged for his villainous approach and strategic acumen. The consensus forms that Jeffrey is a potent contender, prompting Jim, who dislikes him, to rally support against him. Despite Hardin's efforts to divert the target to Lunala, the majority stands firm. In a crucial vote, Jeffrey becomes the eighth jury member, departing with a vote of 3-2 against Lunala, leaving Hardin on his own. The stage is set for an unpredictable final chapter.
Season finale part 2:
As the castaways learn about the twist of having three finalists for the first time, Picasso demonstrates his challenge prowess by securing the crucial individual immunity. With the immunity necklace around his neck, Picasso solidifies his spot in the finale. Back at camp, the strategic rivalry intensifies between Jim and Lunala, both perceiving the other as a significant threat. Hardin, realizing his safety, observes the power struggle, hoping for a straightforward path to the final tribal council. However, Picasso, having promised the finale to both Jim and Lunala, holds the deciding vote. The tribal council unfolds in suspense, resulting in a tie between Lunala and Jim. Unexpectedly, Lunala's hidden immunity idol is still valid, granting her a free pass to the finale and blindsiding Jim, who becomes the final member of the jury. The stage is now set for the last chapter of this Pokémon Survivor journey.
Final Tribal Council:
The grand finale unfolds with three compelling finalists, each crafting a distinct narrative of resilience and strategy. Hardin steps into the spotlight, articulating his evolution from a strategic force to a social architect. With adept alliance-building skills and resilient gameplay, he proudly highlights a clean slate with no votes cast against him, a testament to his calculated maneuvers. Lunala, the epitome of adaptability, shares her journey navigating the game's twists, highlighting her courageous mutiny and the strategic moves that steered her through ever-shifting alliances, complemented by the discovery of the Exile Island hidden immunity idol. Picasso, a maestro of challenges and strategy, presents a canvas painted with victories and intricacies. He acknowledges his emotional approach, defending the depth of his social connections that brought him to the finale.
The jury offers praise and critique, commending Hardin's social finesse, questioning the unpredictability of Lunala's game, and highlighting Picasso's emotional journey. Some of the critiques that emerge are Steele questioning the necessity of Hardin flip. Lunala's bold and sometimes fortunate gameplay faces scrutiny, especially the influence of the Exile Island idol. Picasso, although praised, is reminded of his emotional gameplay and the need for broader social connections. As the votes are cast, Hockey acknowledges Picasso's loyalty, Steele applauds Lunala's decisive moves, and Jeffrey votes for Hardin, lauding that he was not always a pawn, but always a friend. The stage is set for the culmination of this riveting season, as the votes remain sealed, awaiting the revelation of the Sole Survivor.
Reunion:
The moment arrives as the votes are read, and Hardin emerges as the tenth Sole Survivor of the series, securing victory with a 5-3-1 majority against Lunala and Picasso, respectively. As confetti falls and cheers erupt, Hardin reflects on his strategic journey, showcasing a flawless game marked by precise vote management and strategic finesse. The reunion takes an exciting turn as Steele is awarded the title of the season's fan favorite, her unexpected and sassy personality winning hearts and becoming a trending sensation. Additional accolades are bestowed upon the most strategic players, with the runner-up Lunala praised for her fearless approach in navigating the dynamic game. Jeffrey, the season's villain, is celebrated for his Machiavellian plans, earning him third place in this category. The ultimate recognition, however, goes to Hardin, who clinches the title of the season's most strategic player, crowned for his exceptional gameplay and ability to orchestrate a winning journey.
As the curtain falls on this season, anticipation builds for the eleventh installment, promising another thrilling chapter in the storied history of Pokémon Survivor.

2023.12.28 02:00 AwayGazelle3158 Gryffindor? I don't think so

When Rebecca and Nathaniel are in the elevator, Rebecca says she is a Gryffindor. I think she's Slytherin.
For all those who don't know, this will make zero sense and forgive the ramblings of an exhausted Slytherin.
I base my reasons on the Hogwarts sorting hat song in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone.
The verse about Slytherin traits: "Or perhaps in Slytherin, You'll make your real friends, Those cunning folk use any means, To achieve their ends"
Let's start with "You'll make your real friends." Rebecca doesn't have many casual friendships throughout the series (minus the housewarming party). She plants her roots into people.
Moving on to "Those cunning folk use any means to achieve their ends."
Well most of the series is Rebecca doing just that, for good or for self-serving purposes. Any viewer could make dozens of examples of her cunning ways to get what she wants. But let's also think of her cunningness in a good way: she dressed up as a hotel employee to try to get her brother another shot at auditioning for a show.
If we want to go more into Slytherin traits, Rebecca exhibits them tenfold: Resourcefulness Ambition Leadership Cleverness
I could talk about this for days but I'll just stop here for tonight.
Edit: she described herself as Ravenclaw. This whole dissertation was useless lol

2023.10.27 15:01 TopJellyfish7313 are the alleged elites really evil? are they actually good?

are the alleged elites really evil?
to me, it seems like people who indulge greatly in cunningness, deception, evil and generally base/negative ideation have a sort of tunnel vision, a certain lack of awareness. with those kinds of blind spot(s), i dont think that those kinds of people would be capable of controlling anyone or anything long-term- they would simply self-destruct in some form
to me, for the alleged elites to have stayed in their position for so long, they would have to have a great sense of empathy, foresight and a high level of intelligence. they would also have a higher sense of justice than most, because they would be required to carry out or influence acts that could be viewed as evil to many, tho it would still be for the greater good
to me, it seems like a group/caste of people who were truly that intelligent, would create a myriad of diversions and deceptions to confuse the masses, as a means of maintaining order and the overall structure of the world, as a means of keeping the heat off of themselves.
like in the wizard of oz, how someone would think the wizard was this crazy being with otherworldly powers, tho in reality it was just a guy toying with technology. i think thats somewhat what the alleged elites may be like- having masses of people thinking theyre some kind of satanic cult sacrificing people and all manner of wickedness, tho its really a small group of very upright people working to keep the world in harmony
all of the devil worship, human sacrifice/trafficking, wars, etc- seem to be a huge psyop of sorts. like giving the public a boogeyman to fear so they stay in check to a degree
to me, its weird how so many people get wrapped up in the depictions of certain political and public figures on television and popular media- when they literally know nothing about that person beyond what theyre being told about them, if theyre even real people.
is anyone ever Really at war?
wars just seem like manufactured conflicts that were agreed upon by higherups in various parts of the world. sure theres probably some sacrificial element to it, and other bad things- tho it largely just seems like a "show for children", in that childrens shows tend to be smart- but the majority of the kids watching them dont really understand them, especially the humor
It just seems like the alleged elites couldnt possibly be bad or evil people

2023.10.08 19:22 FondantFlaky4997 Analysis on how Koji instilled fear into Ryuuen

After Ryuuen stated to have never felt fear before, Ayanokoji was very shortly afterwards able to formulate on the spot a tactic to instill fear into Ryuuen.
Ryuuen is used to being in control, using others' emotions to gain power over them. While fighting Ayanokoji, Ryuuen expected Ayanokoji to feel any emotions while fighting him, but Ayanokoji doesn’t get emotionally involved in his battles. Ryuuen realizes that Koji was wholly unaffected by all his mental prodding and he wasn’t feeling any of the gamut of emotions someone normal would be inclined to feel — arrogance, fear, joy, anger, excitement etc. Ryuen usually uses violence, his cunningness and exploits weaknesses to come out on top and be the strongest. He uses fear, since fear will always be a very strong emotion that can be used in many ways to have complete power over others. Ayanokoji and Ryuen both use fear to manipulate people, and while Ryuen knows that what he is doing is wrong, he still does it because he finds it fun and gets enjoyment and satisfaction from others. Seeing someone, using the same methods, and not believing that what he is doing is wrong, would make that person an absolute monster.
Ayanokouji “plays“ with those around him, blackmails others, and even uses violence to get what he needs. That Ayanokoji didn’t react to his installment of emotions, physical beating and mind games, while being on top of the highly observant and perceptive Ryuuen, showed Ryuuen that he was only one of the little “kicked rocks“ in Ayanokoji’s way. Would someone brag about being able to move when a rock can’t? Feeling proud of yourself for kicking a rock cause it means you beat it in a fight? Ayanokoji’s emotionless reaction on top of Ryuuen made Ryuuen realize that not only he, but everyone, meant that little to Ayanokoji. Ayanokoji is not looking down on others, because no one would usually look down on a rock.
Shrugging the whole scenario off as a trivial action showed Ryuuen the eyes of an absolutely “emotionless” monster that compares the situation to flicking an ant. The fact that he was completely dancing in the palm of such a monster is what terrified him and broke his spirit. Ryuuen has never felt fear because he was never scared of someone being better than him or fearing your life, pain or anything like that. This was completely different from what a human being would usually perceive as fear. Ryuuen didn’t know how his own fear would feel or look like. Ayanokoji forced Ryuuen’s instincts to understand the utter terror of the existence in front of him. This not only destroyed Ryuuen's strive and pride, as he sees how meaningless he and his actions are to a guy like Ayanokoji and how Ayanokoji beat Ryuuen in his own game. Ayanokoji disrupts Ryuuen’s sense of control, making Ryuuen feel vulnerable, powerless and realize that Ayanokoji has no feelings that he can toy with and is no human being that he can take advantage of. Ryuuen, whose mentality is to fight someone a hundred times to win in the end, and learn from every loss, draws the conclusion that he could never beat Ayanokoji in any way. Ayanokoji instilled fear by showing Ryuuen his psychologically impenetrable, unsympathizable and inhuman indifference.
Ryuuen sees himself, and is also considered by other people, as a monster. Ayanokoji's unflinching demeanor and emotional detachment, which are starkly different from what Ryuuen is accustomed to in his interactions with others. This stark contrast in their approaches to manipulation, control, and emotional engagement effectively destabilized Ryuuen and shattered his sense of power and control. Ayanokoji's ability to remain impervious to Ryuuen's usual tactics exposed the latter's vulnerability and insignificance in comparison. This realization, coupled with the understanding that Ryuuen could never gain an upper hand over Ayanokoji, effectively instilled fear and broke Ryuuen's spirit.
Ayanokoji forced Ryuuen to give up his false conception of fear to realize the humanity he always had. Ayanokoji aimed to let Ryuuen see he was a human that could feel fear, to prove Ryuuen‘s superiority as false. He challenged Ryuuen's perception of himself and his understanding of fear. By pushing Ryuuen to confront his own fears and vulnerabilities, Ayanokoji effectively shattered Ryuuen's false sense of superiority. This act was not about establishing dominance, but about revealing the fundamental humanity that existed within Ryuuen, which he had been suppressing or denying. Ayanokoji's goal was to demonstrate that Ryuuen, like any other person, is capable of experiencing fear. This realization serves to break down Ryuuen's constructed image of invincibility and superiority, ultimately exposing the flaws in his self-perception.
In essence, Ayanokoji's actions were a psychological dismantling of Ryuuen's false beliefs, leading to a moment of self-awareness and realization for Ryuuen. This not only challenged Ryuuen's understanding of fear but also his entire identity and sense of self-worth. It's a powerful testament to Ayanokoji's ability to manipulate not only external circumstances but also the internal perceptions and beliefs of those he interacts with.
Any kind of thoughts and opinions are appreciated😊🙌

2023.09.12 15:29 herbeatupbirkin How would a Power-Role Model think and possibly dress like? Does this sound like sapphire logic to you? Thanks.

I'm thinking these would be my archetypes because I'm very Up and still confused between L and R. I could see myself as a Heretical Muse if LU. I'm in the middle-up.
Anyway, I've seen some of my old screenshots today. And it seems that I tend to think of a particular archetype to embody every now and then and really try to encapsulate its essence. The way it's like for me is to understand the blueprint for this particular style. Like I'm dressing for a character, a role I'm playing at the moment. Which I think is very role model logic. Let me tell you, I think if I decide to dress like an RD or LU, I'd be able to really pull it off. I'd study the way they move, their gestures, their facial expressions, the way they feel in their clothes, what they exude, their je ne sais quoi. I'd start to think that way and live a little like them. Sort of like method dressing. I start to pick my clothes like the archetype would. I start to use their logic.
I literally have boards for different archetypes even before knowing archetypes.
Why I think The Power is because of the overarching theme which is that despite variety, there's been one undergoing theme, STRUCTURE. I like pieces that showcases strength, sophistication, and competence. Even archetypes such as The French Girl where she's carefree and effortless. I still want it to be calculated and strategic. Underneath that enigmatic quality, cunningness. I think that's why I think I could be LU sometimes because aesthetically I might come across as one. However, my logics seem to be more RU. They're more concrete, conceptual, and careful. I'd literally collect thousands of pics for just one specific style in under a month or even less. Just because I want to make sure I'm getting it right. I also tend to plan in advance. I would sketch my outfits for an event, I want it to be perfect or fit my ideals.
I never dressed for what I was feeling or what I want to feel, just who I want to be.
I believe in a consistent style identity. I believe it's marketing. Not just self-expression. You don't want an image that doesn't align with your goals.
During the times I wanted to be more down, not only were my influences like that. But my goals as well, I wanted to live a more existential life. A more philosophical one. More spiritual. I wanted to just be carefree. And you know a part of me still wants that. But I want more than that now. I want to succeed, I want to experience so much more. It may sound shallow... but I want to experience the finer things in life. And my style reflects that.
When I feel like my current environment doesn't align with who I am, want to be, and my dream life. I start to feel uncomfortable with my clothes. I want to hide. I want to dress sloppy. It feels that all my efforts are going to waste. It feels like it's not worth it right now. But it also feels like I'm giving myself away and not taking care of myself. So I never do it. I still wear elevated clothes even if it's a bit out of place. I'd rather stand out like a sore thumb right now. Than not belong where I actually want to be.
So tell me, does this sound like RU logic to you? And if yes, does it sound like the archetypes mentioned above. Thank you.

2023.08.17 11:29 superjeenyuhs Alejandro

I can’t help but rave about the actor who played young Alejandro. Props to the makeup artist and stylist. Kuhang kuha nya galaw ni older Alejandro. The mannerisms. The facial expression. Even the slyness and cunningness when his guard is down and he shows his real self.
Magaling din naman yun acting ni young Cielo except yun Alejandro part can pass off as past and present in real life talaga.
And Doña Cielo’s acting during the confrontation with Alejandro. I don’t have any bad ideas, Carlo. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

2023.07.10 08:18 Exoticindianart Nine Steps of Hindu Devotion: Unlocking the Path to True Devotion

Nine Steps of Hindu Devotion: Unlocking the Path to True Devotion

Ramayana
Devotion is a profound aspect of Hinduism that encompasses various steps and practices to deepen one's connection with the divine. The meeting of Lord Rama with Shabri (an elderly woman ascetic in the Hindu epic Ramayana) was a reward for all her penance and dedication. Shabri shows selfless honest devotion. She was a Lord Rama devotee and a seeker of knowledge. She was curious about the true meaning of dharma and bhakti (devotion). These steps serve as a guide to individuals seeking to embark on a path of true devotion and self-realization. In this article, we will explore these steps in detail, emphasizing their significance in cultivating a dedicated and enlightened spiritual life.
Step 1: Associating with Saints for Spiritual Guidance
The first step towards devotion is to seek the company of saintly individuals. Saints serve as role models of human excellence, guiding us on the path of righteousness. They impart invaluable lessons on truth, love, compassion, sacrifice, and forgiveness. By putting others before ourselves and embracing virtuous conduct, we can uphold the principles of dharma. Saints inspire us to lead disciplined lives and make exceptional choices, even amidst uncertainty. Rather than blaming others during times of suffering, saints teach us to draw closer to God, thereby enlightening our souls.
શ્રી વાલ્મીકી રામાયણ: Shri Valmiki Ramayana (Gujarati)
Step 2: Reverence for Divine Discourses
The second step involves wholeheartedly engaging in discourses related to the Lord. Katha, the Indian art of storytelling by saints, holds great significance in the spiritual realm. Listening attentively to these narratives allows the Lord to enter our hearts and souls. The stories unveiled during katha provide profound insights into the divine nature of the Lord. It is through such attentive listening that we can truly experience the presence of the Lord. In Hindu Dharma, actively participating in the Lord's katha is regarded as the highest form of devotion.
Step 3: Selfless Service to the Guru
The third step centers around selflessly serving the Guru's lotus feet, free from pride or arrogance. Seva, or selfless service, holds immense blessings for the disciple. Even without physical proximity to the Guru, one can serve by faithfully following their teachings. Engaging in such selfless acts without any expectation of reward leads one closer to attaining the divine grace of the Lord.
Step 4: Sincere Appreciation of the Lord's Virtues
The fourth step entails earnestly praising the virtues of the Lord, devoid of any cunning, fraud, or cunningness. Maintaining an innocent heart is crucial for spiritual growth. A pure heart serves as a vessel for divine blessings and enables us to spread love and peace in the world.
Step 5: Chanting the Lord's Name with Unwavering Faith
According to the Vedas, the fifth step towards devotion involves chanting the Lord's name with unwavering faith. Faith acts as a guiding light during times of darkness and grants us strength when we are weakened. It helps us discover our purpose in life and propels us forward during challenging times. By placing our faith in God, we gain the courage, stability, and resilience needed to navigate life's obstacles.
Step 6: Practicing Duties, Self-Control, and Good Character
The sixth step emphasizes consistently fulfilling our duties, practicing self-control, and cultivating good character. Developing emotional awareness plays a pivotal role in exercising self-control. Those who lack self-control often succumb to aggressive behavior, which adversely affects themselves and others. Through prayers and meditation, one can nurture the ability to exercise self-control and uphold virtuous conduct.

Step 7: Perceiving the World as a Manifestation of God
The seventh step encourages perceiving the world as a divine creation, thereby promoting harmony and non-harm to others. Lord Rama emphasizes the significance of wholeheartedly following the teachings of saints. By doing so, peace, love, and compassion can flourish across the globe.
Step 8: Attaining Contentment and Detachment
The eighth step marks the stage of contentment, where desires cease to influence one's happiness. When achievements and setbacks no longer affect a person's inner peace, they draw closer to God. This stage is attained when one refrains from finding faults in others, even in their dreams. Recognizing the equality of all human beings and relinquishing judgment fosters a joyful existence and contributes to a harmonious world.
Step 9: Unwavering Faith and Surrender to the Almighty
The final step encompasses having unwavering faith in the Lord and adopting a childlike innocence free from deception. Placing complete trust in the Lord leads to a state of equanimity, where neither failure nor success can disturb one's inner peace. This serene mindset allows for logical thinking and wise decision-making in all situations.
Sri Valmiki Ramayanam (Malayalam)
Conclusion
The nine steps of Hindu devotion serve as a comprehensive roadmap for individuals seeking a profound connection with the divine. Through associating with saints, revering divine discourses, selfless service, sincere appreciation, unwavering faith, practicing duties and self-control, perceiving the world as a manifestation of God, attaining contentment, and surrendering to the Almighty, one can embark on a transformative journey of selfless devotion. By embracing these steps wholeheartedly, individuals can unlock the true essence of Hindu devotion and experience a profound union with the divine.

WW: History of Suomus: The Battle of Lauhanvuori or
Suomus during The Great Northern War.
The year is 1700, The Great Northern War has begun…
One of the most devastating conflicts of its era that saw many of the greatest powers in north Europa fight for supremacy, which title had belonged to Baltland for 150 years under its Swedish Empire….but all of that began to crumble down the moment Suomi revolted at the end of the 17th century.
While not a devastating blow, it did sent the message to everyone that Baltland was getting weak and it was the perfect moment to attack and try to get a piece from their Empire, Orussia, the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth and even Denmark-Norway factions within Baltland all attacked simultaneously, which would have been devastating for most Empires, fortunately the Swedes had the magnificent and brilliant young King “Charles XII”, whose might and military accomplishments earned him the title of “Carolus Rex”, he would go on to humble his fellow Norse rivals at Humlebæk, his Orussian rivals in Narvia and then went on to completely subjugate the Commonwealth all within the span of three years.
There was no doubt Charles XII was a brilliant leader and a thought opponent and would go on to continue his war against Tsar Peter who would learn from Narvia and would become a worthy opponent to the Swedish King…but despite his grandiose accomplishments…he does not play a major role in the story of Suomus.
Charles XII was never too concerned with the Suomi as he knew they did not want to carve a piece of Baltland, they just wanted their piece back and he was more than happy to let them have it for the moment, promising he would put all the might of his “Carolean Army” to completely subjugate the savage Suomi barbarians once and for all…a promise he would never fulfill…
For now let’s talk about the reason behind Baltland’s success prior to the arrival of Charles, a special light cavalry force composed almost exclusively by those very same “Suomi Barbarians” he disliked so much, the Hakkapeliitta, created by Gustav II Adolf years before, they were formidable horse riders who would all charge in line firing their pistols at the enemy to disrupt their formations and then devastate them in a collision with their swords, extremely resilient due to their natural adaptability to harsh conditions and most importantly, extremely loyal to the Swedish crown…one might wonder at this point how come these Suomi soldiers completely turned their back on their own people being capable of fighting and destroying them without an inch of guilt? The reason lies on the cunningness of Gustav II Adolf and his people taking advantage of the desperation of the young.
When the Suomi Witches left with the majority of their people after the Cudgel War, the men stayed behind to serve as bait allowing the vulnerable population to escape with the Witches to stablish themselves in the North, many did this without hesitation happy to make that sacrifice for their loved ones and for the Witches, but as it happens in life…nothing is entirely unilateral and the youngest of these Suomi men began to felt prey to despair and frustration turning into resentment and anger toward those who had left, and the Baltland King noticed them, he picked these young men and was able to convince them that they had been completely abandoned and the Witches did not care so it was not worth to keep suffering for them, he offered an escape to this situation if they worked for him, and from these youths the Hakkapeliitta were born…embittered and resentful toward their own people and showered with privileges by the Vasa Kings.
Eventually this resentment became an ideal, a mentality that they used to convince many of the nascent children within occupied territory fueling their lines, there was no stopping this thought on the minds of these people, growing ever stronger into a powerful movement of self-hatred and with the single goal of occupying Suomus for their Norse overlords, but more importantly and more radically, assassinating the daughters of Aigin, the Witches who abandoned them once again as they did to the Sami in the past…their sins would not be forgiven this time.
But the years had passed and Charles XII had better military ideals he implemented in his Carolean army, meaning the Hakkapeliitta had become obsolete by the 18th century where musket line infantry became the predominant combat method, armed with bayonets to assassinate cavalry charges, there was no use for the Hakkapeliitta anymore in these times, but Charles was not a wasteful man and to prevent them from rebelling out of anger, he gave them all one mission he wasn’t sure they would fulfill but it would get them off his back regardless of the outcome…he instructed to travel through the Lapland Northern lands and from there…go down and subjugate Suomus once and for all.
The Hakkapeliitta captain a man called “Clas Åkesson Tott” who was the son of the man who saved Gustav II Adolf during the Tar War, a ruthless 50 years old man who had grown all his life believing in what his masters had told him and on the goals of the military order accepted this mission without question, he was not stupid and could see what were the true intentions of the King, yet he was willing to prove his and his men’s worth by fulfilling the impossible and finally subjugating his own people once and for all, they were however given some help by the King in the form of a sabre made from a “Red Metal” he guaranteed them it would be able to not only pierce through a Witch’s shield but kill her with one single strike, with these improvements Clas was ready to depart from Oslo in one final march for the Hakkapeliitta, it was all or nothing at this point and they were not going to surrender this easily.
And so there in the year 1707 as Carolus Rex battled against the Orussian Tsar, all of the 250.000 Hakkapeliitta commanded by Clas marched north and crossed their side of Lapland into the Suomus’ Lapland finally arriving at the end of the year and prepared for an assault into their most northern town Tornio, being Suomi themselves they knew where to strike with stealth to dispatch of the wall defenders with their guns and began besieging the town with their siege weapons (Leather Canons).
The inhabitants decided to evacuate the population from the other side all led by two of the four Witches in the town who were actually of Norwegian origin, 20 years old Marte Stefandatter and her young cousin Oddny Stefandatter of 15 years old, both being part of the Baltland Witches who defected to Suomus’ side during the rebellion.
The Hakkapeliitta were able to punch a hole in the town and entered prepared to battle its defenders with their fanatical ferocity, easily tearing them down with no mercy, slaying any living being they found inside and burning the town and when the Witches stepped in to fight them they were met with the blades made of this mysterious Red Metal and just as Charles XII had promised these blades pierced Witch shields and cut them, once injured the Witches felt excruciating pain which distracted them allowing the Hakkapeliitta to chop them in pieces without mercy but with absolute hatred, the two Suomi Witches were killed to the shock and despair of everyone, but they were not done yet.
The fleeing Suomi led by Oddny were caught in a trap laid by the Hakkapeliitta and began slaughtering them one by one, Oddny bravely defended them despite the red blades, fighting like a true Norse Witch even when cut and feeling intense pain, she never gave up but they overwhelmed her and then Clas himself slashed her neck with his blade celebrating the death of a traitor to Baltland and a Witch, promising that the Suomi Witches would follow the same fate.
The party led by Marte were able to reach the safety of swamps in one of the small settlements near lake Lokka where she was informed of the sad news regarding the fate of her beloved cousin, she was so upset she tore her entire uniform as she cursed her own country and the Kings on it promising to avenge her cousin.
The massacre of Tornio remains to this day one of the worst massacres ever carried on Suomi soil and the Hakkapeliitta intended to continue and do the same to others, embolden by their Witch killing weapons, despite this the Suomi began amassing an army to fight the Hakkapeliitta and quickly prepared to march north led by Suomi general “Väinämöinen “Vimo” Leppanen” son of the two Witch heroines Ana Linnamaa and her lover Liisi Leppanen, called by his peer “The Burning Snow” for his successes during the initial phase of the rebellion, he was chosen by his mothers to bring the Hakkapeliitta to justice and led the first massive and professional Suomi army.
A year passed and the Hakkapeliitta kept their march across Suomus destroying any army they encountered, massacring the population and managed to kill five more Witches who tried to snipe them from the distance, burned Oulu and Raahe and were on their way to besiege both Vasa and Kokkola and even tried to start a massive forestall fire but the weather of Suomus did not allow it to spread much, but they were closely being observed by Marte who was vent on carrying out her vengeance against Captain Clas as she trailed the progress of the Hakkapeliitta with a group of Suomi scouts…trying to understand everything about this mysterious material, fortunately for her she would receive assistance from a fellow ally.
During camp as she talked to her men at night, they were approached by a mysterious figure…who revealed herself as she came down from her horse…she was a 27 years old Orussian Witch with long blonde hair and noticeably…missing one arm, but not just any Witch…she was a member of the distinguished Orussian Royal Guard, the protectors of Tsar Peter himself…
Her name was “Yesenia Apraksin”, she explained that she had come her on a personal mission to support Suomus forces against the Hakkapeliitta on her own initiative as she believed they would use “The Secret Weapon” against the Witches of this land and upon comparing notes with Marte her concerns were validated. The mysterious red metal according to Yesenia was called “Red Neuroi Dust”, an ancient material created during the times of Roman Emperors in Palestine to “Kill Witches” mixed with mercury and silver, it poisoned a Witch spiritual magic making it painful for her to use it thus usually forcing her to nullify her powers to avoid the pain making them vulnerable and it could also pierce through magical shields, she was not aware at that moment how Charles XII got this material but knew he had full intention of using it not only against enemy Witches but also his own Witches as he wanted to get rid of them for interfering in the plans of the Swedish Empire.
This infuriated Marte who could not believe she could hate the King even more than she already did, Yesenia informed her that her reinforcement had this information already and would pass it to the forces of General Vimo so they would be best prepared, so there was no need to worry, Marte asked Yesenia if she had lost her arm because of this material to which she nodded stating she understood better than anyone how dangerous this thing was and wanted to avoid it being spread across the world as it would put the Witches in massive danger…so there was only one solution to this problem.
Kill or defeat the entirety of the Hakkapeliitta and DESTROY the Swedish Empire once and for all…something Marte was more than happy to see through.
Yesenia explained that there was no cure or repellent for Red Neuroi Dust, the only way to avoid it was not getting injured with it, fortunately for the Suomi the Hakkapeliitta only had blades enhanced with this mineral and not guns and artillery as Charles probably kept it all for himself to use against Peter’s and Cossack Witches, so it made things a bit easier but now they had to fight against the Hakkapeliitta. Marte, Yesenia and the Suomi scouts brainstormed a plan as they followed the Hakkapeliitta from a safe distance, realizing that being primarily a cavalry force, they would begin to experience difficulties the more they dwelled into southern Suomus…so Yesenia came up with a plan.
Force the Hakkapeliitta to pass through the most dense and forested swamp in Suomus, the Lauhanvuori in southern Pohjanmaa, where usage of horses was simply ill advised and in there…have the forces of General Vimo engager them…but given that they were very good at intercepting guerrilla attacks, there was one option left…bait them into entering deep into the swamp taking advantage of their fanatical fury and desperation…have the entire force follow them against all reason…but how where they going to accomplish that? Here is where Marte came up with an insanely bold and dangerous idea, she would taunt them into following her all the way while Yesenia and the scouts reunited with General Vimo to inform them of the battlefield.
Yesenia asked if she was sure of it, and Marte reaffirmed she was prepared and would not let herself get caught by them, with that agreed the two Witched executed their plan.
The year was the end of 1708 and the invaders prepared to besiege Kokkola when they heard the voice of a Witch taunting them, calling them monsters, traitors and cowards…she wasn’t hiding as they probably expected…she came from the distance riding on skis….Marte called them on. The Hakkapeliitta at first were not interested in minding this Witch unless she attacked them which she wasn’t doing, Clas however noticed she was not a Suomi Witch…but one of the traitors from Baltland, which peaked his interest and began bantering with the Witch from the distance.
Saying she had no right to call them traitors as she herself was one, but Marte reminded them that a Witch pledge is not with the Kingdoms of mankind but to mankind itself, no matter where they came from a Witch would always protect them from the Neuroi and protect the innocent, therefore she never betrayed anyone...unlike they did. Clas fired back asking how could she claim such thing when they had abandoned them to suffer at the hands of the Baltlanders, to which Marte replied pointing out he didn’t look miserable under his shiny pristine uniform and his elegantly cut beard so they had no room to complain and appropriate the suffering of their fellow Suomi, which angered Clas and the others.
Marte then stated that the ones who stayed behind did it willingly to protect their wives, mothers, daughters and children doing it out of love and devotion, but they had twisted all that because they were cowards, spoiled and were not capable of understanding what it is like to sacrifice for your loved ones as they did not love anyone but themselves and they knew it, choosing instead to blame the other Suomi and the Witches for their tantrum because they were not true men like those who stayed, like those who died and like those who now fight for their independence instead of sucking Carolus Cock for an easy life, so vicious was Marte in her rant, making some of them feel humiliated by a foreigner that they visibly began tearing up in shame and anger, but Clas was just red with fury…as he knew they were not liked anymore by the monarchy so her words hurt the most.
It became a battle of petty insults toward Marte, he fired back at Marte asking her if the Witch they killed in Tornio was related to her, to which Marte confirmed she was indeed her beloved cousin Oddny, the enraged Clas insulted her saying she died like a bitch and lamenting they didn’t torture and rape her before dying, which made Marte angry but she remained calm and fired back directly at Clas saying “She would just mock you saying your horse would do it better” and this was the final straw for Clas and the Hakkapeliitta who ordered everyone to charge and KILL Marte.
The Norwegian Witch dashed and dashed fast through the snow and ice staying away from the firing guns and reach of the Hakkapeliitta who had abandoned all logic and just wanted to shut this stupid Witch, but she pushed through and skiing like a professional avoiding them…this frantic chase lasted almost 2 days without much stop because every time they did Marte would just keep taunting them and the pursuit continued, eventually reaching their destination…the Lauhanvuori Swamp where a very tired but satisfied Marte ditched her skis and went inside followed by them.
By the time the Hakkapeliitta realized where they were it was too late as they were deep within the swamps and their horses had difficulty moving…it was here where the drums and the trumpet of the Suomi army echoed in the woods and they charged the Hakkapeliitta from all sides, starting the battle.
There were no open fields, just woods and swampy terrains all over the place so using line infantry here was not an option, the Hakkapeliitta were able to repel the first wave of attackers using their pistols but they eventually ran out of bullets and devolved into drawing their weapons for a melee fight…hoping to use their sabers against the Witches but…none came… General Vimo decided not to risk his Witches anymore and simply sent his men to slay the Hakkapeliitta without mercy as punishment for their crimes, they were nothing but traitors to him, the only Witches present on the fight were Yesenia who stood next to the general and Marte who did not follow this command and went into the battlefield to fulfill her revenge.
The 250.000 Hakkapeliitta despite their combat prowess, without their gunpowder and horses where severely at a disadvantage against 400.000 angry Suomus soldiers who began killing them one by one after two hours of combat, eventually Clas realized he was not going to win here and he had no option to retreat as he would not be welcomed back…so he decided to make this his grand final stance…until he heard his name being called, it was Marte ready to fight him, he prepared his red Neuroi Dust sabre and charged the Witch but…
One of the Suomi soldiers threw an axe for Marte to use and she quickly impacted the sabre with all her force…it broke but it also broke the sabre shattering into pieces. Clas tried to use a dagger but Marte quickly punched him in the face, breaking his nose, teeth and even managing to punch one eye out of it socket….defeating him, she had him at her mercy and he dared her to kill him, but Marte said:
“So you can escape the consequences of your choices? No, I want to kill you…but it will bring much pleasure to me and to my cousin in Valhalla seeing you live the rest of your life knowing you picked the wrong side”
And then proceeded to kick him to left him unconscious…and with that after three hours of intense battle, the invaders had been completely defeated, none could escape and the ones who tried were dispatched by the Suomi scouts…only 85 Hakkapeliitta including captain Clas survived the battle while the Suomi army still had 320.000 soldiers left.
The Battle of Lauhanvuori or more poetically known as “The Last March of the Hakkapeliitta” was the only major fight during the Great Northern War in which Suomus participated but it was one of the most meaningful ones for the entire conflict, one of the most elite forces of the Swedish Empire was completely decimated by the Suomi and with it they earned their freedom from Baltland, the blades of Red Neuroi Dust were all successfully recovered by Yesenia and the forces of General Vimo and later destroyed by Orussian’s Valkyries of Vladimir, saving the world from such material being available.
But the most devastating blow for Baltland was the news of the defeat of Carolus Rex at Poltava in 1709 by Peter and Yesenia’s fellow Royal Guard Witch Aleksandra “Shura” Memyl who defeated and killed the provider of Red Neuroi Dust during the battle, after which Charles XII sought refuge in the Ostoman Empire a year later, but when its Sultan “Ahmed III” discovered his texts about Red Neuroi Book he decided to murder not only him but his entire retinue of soldiers and ordered his Witches to dispose of the knowledge, a risky diplomatic move but the rash actions of the Sultan saved the lives of many Witches around the world, Charles XII Carolus Rex was dead and would just be thrown into a mass grave in Anatolia, denying him his entrance to Valhalla, a fitting end to such a controversial figure some would say, no records of Red Neuroi Dust survived.
He was succeeded by his sister Ulrika Eleanora but that did not last very long, not this time, people were tired of this…
By 1715, Denmark and Norway joined forces once again for one final attack alongside an Orussian naval invasion and a Suomus attack from the North by General Vimo and they all besieged Sweden’s capital Stockholm and forced Ulrika to abdicate the Baltland crown…Baltland’s Swedish Empire was finally over and defeated…150 years of blood and oppression had come to an end.
The crown of Baltland was taken by Danish Prince “Frederik the IV” and immediately began undoing all the wrongdoings of Charles and his ilk…first making peace with Orussia, Suomus and the Polish Lithuanian Commonwealth, second withdrawing all his forces from Suomus and Northern Europa and last but not least, liberating Suomus and declaring it its own sovereign state writing the “Treaty of Oddny” in honor of Marte’s cousin in which Baltland promised not to interfere with Suomus for 100 years unless Suomus asked for it in which Baltland was obligated to provide assistance, leaving only the collaboration between their Witches as the only admitted free interaction.
And with this…The Norse era of Suomus came to an end much to the joy of all the people who fought in it, finally the exiled on the North could come back to the cities and towns and live in peace once again, the surviving Hakkapeliitta where all locked in a prison in Turku made just for them so they could witness the happiness and peace of Suomus they would never get to enjoy…and in there they would remain until their death after which they would not be buried or cremated in Suomus soil instead being thrown at the sea denying them a place in the land, Clas declared he would have rather die that day, but he would not…he would live the rest of his days in his own personal hell.
Marte continued to serve both Baltland and Suomus as a diplomat for the rest of her life, despite not being of Suomi origin, she is highly venerated within Suomus as they would any of their other Witches and her ashes are even buried in Helsinki, standing proud as a symbol for hope and the humanity of Baltland Witches who brought so much comfort and joy to Suomus during those dark times, and to the pledge of Witches to mankind.
Orussia rose as the maximum power in the north with the transformation of its nation from a Tsardom to an Empire, Peter approached the Suomi people and offered them a chance to become a “Protectorate” of Orussia declaring it would only be until Suomus could built itself into a powerful nation by their own merits promising to never intervene in their affairs and instead would come to their protection should they were attacked, The Suomi accepted as they knew Orussia had been one of their strongest and most loyal allies.
And thus…the Vyborg Governorate was born in 1744 (Later Grand Duchy of Suomus in the 19th century), encompassing the entirety of Suomi territory governed by themselves as a Republic to choose their own governors, ending hundreds of years of war bringing a long desired era of peace to Suomus during which the base for Suomi Nationalism was seeded.

2023.07.01 21:56 I_am_Fang_Yuan_ Taking LSD while reading Reverend insanity, Becoming Fang Yuan and Fighting God for Eternal life, then realising I am God and I'm already Eternal

Taking Drugs and LSD and Becoming Fang Yuan and Fighting God
An Updated version of a previous post about me taking LSD and reading reverend insanity, Except this time, we have LSD (3500ug) months of doing it, shrooms loads, overdosing on Ketamine especially K-holes, speed, loads of tryptamines and other drugs, i had a previous post about this and this is what follows
I will restart from the beginning
In my 2nd LSD trip ever, which was 300ug and that's where shit gets very interesting, I literally felt I was FANG YUAN! AND LSD was Spring Autumn Cicada and Wisdom Gu ! Which gave me all these revelations from my future self, and I was Struck in a Time loop where I needed to realise what my Future Self was telling me, perhaps I had died in the future and finally returned to the Past to Survive with all these revelations
I also Felt I was gonna become like Fang Yuan and conquer this world, and this entire world was my own playground and Everything in it was at my Mercy and will one day come to belong to Me alone
I also thought like wait wtf, the sky is white heaven and space is black heaven, this is the gu world, I was in Central continent which is Europe and all this shit was beyond wild, like it feels like it's Literally the TRUTH like reality!
Fourth trip was something more insane, it was directly after it was revealed all of shadow sect was spectral soul's split soul, like the same day
I took LSD and I literally felt I was God and everybody was my split soul and I had Created this entire world and Universe from scratch for my own entertainment
Everytime I call it the "Zone", where you feel "I Knew this" but I was made to forget it on purpose to play this character!
Now 5th trip was even crazier, I still thought I was God but I wasn't Fang Yuan, Rather fang yuan was gonna have to ascend to Venerable to fight ME because I am God !
But I also felt like fang yuan was another one of my split soul rebelling against me and trying to take my Position as God but it also felt like I was doing all this Chaos just to entertain myself for Eternity and he was but a character
Now continue with me because my character development went exactly like the novel and especially the legends of renzu which I think is the best story about the human condition, but there is too much coincidence!
"City well is a secluded domain of heaven and earth, only by knowing you are inside of it can you get out"
now I didn't give it much thought and coincidentally I took lsd the next day,
AND then BOOM!
I was like OK so this is city well, even if it's not, I can see that reality is not real, It's all just an Illusion made to make me fall asleep! But like then at that moment it was like damn!! Only by knowing you are inside a well can you get out of it and realise True Reality!
I felt I was trapped in this Illusion of Life and I needed to wake up and become God again
So this next part, I took LSD and it was the most intense trip I have ever had, i felt I was Boiling in lava literally, now as you might not now but lsd amplifies all emotions like 100x especially suffering like it lasts even after the trip, in this trip I had an intense ego death
I forgot everything and became a white empty slate, being Nothingness
This was really like rock bottom for me, like when I saw somebody I could vaguely feel I know this person but there were no memories, and I would have this voice in my head : "WHAT AM I?" "WHERE AM I " "WHY?" AND ALL this shit was crazy, I would think all day and i understood nothing about what the world was or how it worked, much like Renzu when he went Insane!
In this same way, I was trynna destroy and get out of Fate gu's bindings that was binding me to a mortal body and in this illusion
At this point, I went to the beach and it was very similar to Reverse flow river and it gave me a good contrast to my life which is me being pushed by the Sea of Fat
this till now was last year, now We Get into the Real shit thats interesting
In an mdma + Huge LSD dose, I saw God in his True infinite form, a Formless form, a huge void infinite white sky without limits, The Supreme Being, the only True existence, there came a merging, a me becoming God and I was two steps from becoming God
but I had to give up my body and mind! but a thought stopped me that "I was gonna be Alone", a fear of Death, giving up Everything and Everyone
and a few thoughts rippled
"I fear being God"
it dawned on me that perhaps the boredom and fear of being alone was what made me create the world but it later became clear that it was the human form/mind that feared that and not the real "Me"
After this experiences of rejecting the merging into God coupled with the mdma comedown made me go Through Literal Hell, feeling disfunctional, suffering bodily and insane anxiety, stress and suicidal thoughts that came with the comedown but It dawned on me that perhaps it was God's punishment for prefering the World to Him, "you came all this way yet refused me for this lowly world", it did feel terrifying and full of suffering but I came to transcend that suffering and reject God and his anger, what is he gonna do anyway?
But it went to Hell even more, that string of bad luck didn't end just like that, through some coincidences I ended up consuming 5x the normal dose of ketamine and it was HELL itself, I was Boiling, My heart would literally Explode every few seconds, sensations coming up and exploding me entirely
Yet I still went through it and Trascended it with anger and pride, what are you gonna do God? heh!
here is what he did, I accidently ingested 10x the normal ketamine dose AGAIN, this time HELL 50x, Literally BLACKING OUT every few minutes, waking in Hell again and again! to blacking out, this continued for 30 FUCKING HOURS! you cannot make this shit up, I am not lying, it was Death ITSELF!
after that I was just dead for a month, not eating, no water, bad sleep, stomach and head pain
Yet I still transcended it but this time with surrender to God although I didn't still accept him/I/it, whatever it was
This Hell did not stop but kept going, I felt I was going against God himself and constantly fighting him and the demons in my head, I had entirely given up on Fang yuan and me
After that, I went through another mdma + lsd + shrooms trip, I found God but when he wanted me to dissolve in him, I refused Again, I will not return if I do not choose to!
Hell continued again, Anything I did, everything I valued, All my soul and blood was taken from me, catastrophy fell upon me till the point where there was no more "me"
Yet I saw here the wisdom and Cunningness of God, I had cut off all attachments, I had gone to the core of my being and cut everything till the last threads remained and then I cut those as well till nothing remains
Months have passed since then, I'm prepared for a New Showdown in the next coming days, I'm gonna fight God again and this time I WILL WIN!
Fighting God while taking drugs and inhabiting the spirit of Fang yuan
Taking drugs in a forest alone and feeling like a God with epic music on the background while on psychedelics
I felt that me and the world and the entire universe were created by God and that he was all moving them like puppets on a string, all imaginary in his own mind
and that I was the only One who was gonna rebel and refuse him,
I was the one who was gonna transcend this world and everything and I was the One who was about to become God
I was moving with absolute confidence, I felt like I am God and the entire world was at my mercy
I felt that the spirit of Fang yuan wasn't just fighting Heaven's will but Gu zhu ren as well, the author himself and that the same way fang yuan was doing that, I the imaginary character was fighting against my author, God himself
I felt Fang yuan as this absolute spirit of Absolute freedom moving through me,
I even stumbled in the outer of the forest and was moving near a highway and with cars all moving with all the noise and the possibility of being crushed at any moment coupled with the absolute Epic music,
I felt like a God conquering everything and nothing could stand in front of me
That was It! I felt this absolute adrenaline and excitment flowing through my veins, and I heard this in my head
"Self alone exists, Limitless, Eternal, All-Encompassing" and I WAS THAT!
I WAS LIMITLESS
I AM GOD
WITHOUT BEGINNING OR END
INFINITE FREEDOM AND INFINITE POWER
I CREATED THIS ENTIRE WORLD
AND AM BEYOND IT ALLLL
And With Absolute EXCITMENT and Otherwordly Epic music
I Was TRANSCENDING My Individuality
AND BECOMING GOD
AND I FELT ALL THIS ENERGY FLOWING THROUGH ME!
LIFE ITSELF!
THIS ABSOLUTE FREEDOM AND LIMITLESNESS!!
I WAS ABSOLUTELY FREE!
AND I BECAME GOD AND WON ETERNAL LIFE!!
IN THE END, I WAS THE ONE WHO TRANSCENDED EVERYTHING!!!
I AM THE ONLY ONE, THE PEAK OF THE PEAK, THE ABSOLUTE EXISTENCE TO WHICH THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE BOWS TO!
I am God.

2023.06.23 08:23 JasonSkolimski Islam, as explained by the martyr Father Ilarion Felea

Wrapping up our series of short presentations on the major religions of mankind, let's delve into Islam or Muhammadanism, the religion of the Arabs, which is the only religion to emerge after Christ. The founder of this religion is Muhammad (the praised one), an interesting historical figure who lived his life from one extreme to another: from anonymity to glory, from poverty to wealth, from asceticism to debauchery, oscillating between weapons and the altar, cunningness and seriousness. Although he couldn't read or write, he left behind a book and a religion.
Muhammad was born on April 20, 570, in Mecca. His father, Abdallah (the servant of God), died before his birth. His mother, Amina, a gentle and delicate woman, is said to have had various visions before and after the child's birth. At the age of two, his mother passed away, and not long after, his uncle and guardian, Abd al-Muttalib, also died. Now, Muhammad falls under the care of his maternal uncle, Abu Talib, a poor man with many children, who makes him a shepherd. Twenty years later, Muhammad enters the service of a wealthy widow, Khadijah (Hadīja), whom he marries after five years. They have two sons and four daughters together.
Despite being 15-20 years older than him, they lead a happy life together. With her prestige, wealth, skills, and encouragement, Khadijah gives Muhammad's life an unexpected trajectory. After Khadijah's death, even though he is 51 years old, Muhammad leads a carefree family life, taking on an additional 12 legitimate wives and several concubines. This lifestyle does not align with the moral prestige one would expect from a "prophet" and founder of a religion.
From his early childhood, Muhammad exhibited a particular inclination towards meditation and asceticism. He would spend extended periods of time on Mount Hira, where he contracted a nervous ailment characterized by muscular hysteria. It was during his epileptic episodes that he received revelations. On one occasion, while sleeping in a cave near Mount Hira, overwhelmed by despair due to his illness and contemplating suicide, he experienced a vision. In his dream, the archangel Gabriel appeared before him, urging him to recite in the name of the Lord who created man from a clot of blood and teaching him things previously unknown. Upon awakening, Muhammad found himself outside the cave, where he heard a celestial voice proclaiming, "Muhammad, you are the Messenger of God, and I am Gabriel." Looking up, he beheld an angelic figure, resembling a man with wings, who repeated the words spoken before vanishing.
Having returned home, Muhammad shared the vision with his wife, Khadijah, in a state of distress, believing it to be the work of demons. However, Khadijah managed to convince him that it was a divine revelation and that he was indeed chosen by God. At the time of this revelation, Muhammad was forty years old. This experience intensified his ascetic practices and fueled his religious fervor. Subsequently, the angel appeared to him once again, instructing him to commence his preaching mission.
Muhammad complied and began his teachings. Initially, he addressed matters related to idolatry, disbelief, charity, repentance, divine judgment, the punishments of hell, and the rewards of paradise. His first disciples included Khadijah, his cousin Ali, his adopted son Zaid (formerly a Christian), his wealthy uncle Abu Bakr, and later his cousin Hamza, followed by Umar. Unfortunately, Muhammad faced ridicule and stones hurled by his other relatives, leading to his expulsion from his homeland. Yet, he found greater success in Yathrib, a center of monotheism, where he gained six, then twelve disciples. Within a year, his following grew to include seventy-three men and two women.
Here, Muhammad and Ali take refuge on June 22, 622, marking the beginning of the Muslim era (Hijra). The city is now called Medina (the city of the Prophet). Soon, he conquers the entire city for the new faith and enlivens it to start the struggle for the propagation of the Prophet's teachings against the unbelievers through fire and sword. Initially, with 300 men, he robs and massacres the caravans of the Meccans and Syrians, then gathers an army of 10,000 men and occupies Mecca. It is said that the statues of the 360 gods were shattered by Muhammad's own hand, now the undisputed ruler of the holy city of the Arabs. He gathers a new army of 30,000 soldiers, declares "holy war" against all non-believers in the Prophet, and organizes no less than 76 expeditions into the desert "for plunder and for the Qur'an," subjugating all Arab tribes one by one. He dies on June 8, 632, at the age of 62, uttering his last words:* "Allah... yes... Paradise."*
In his travels in the service of his uncles and Hadhija, Muhammad came into contact with Judaism, Christianity, and Zoroastrianism, and through comparison, he realized the inferiority of his people's religion compared to the religion of the Jews and Christians. Before Muhammad, the Arabs were polytheistic, Sabian, fetishistic, and idolatrous. They worshipped rudimentarily carved stone images or simply blocks of stone, such as the Kaaba in Mecca, the white stone fallen from the sky, later blackened by the sins of men. Arab worship was bloody. Human sacrifices were offered to the idols, especially beautiful and well-developed children, as well as animals, cereals, and various offerings. During major celebrations, the idols were dressed in beautiful clothes and adorned with precious jewels. The most significant sacrifice was that of hair: at the end of sacred journeys, intentionally untended hair was cut and thrown into the fire. The religion of the Arabs had declined so much that the idols no longer had any credibility.
As a protest against idolatry, the sect of Hanifs emerged, which fought against idolatry, professed monotheism, and worshipped Allah, the one true God. Muhammad had close ties with this sect, if he was not a member himself, before establishing his own religion. In any case, the inferiority of Arab religion compared to Christianity and Judaism, as well as contact with the sect of Hanifs, deeply resonated in Muhammad's meditative soul, giving rise to the new religion, Islam (faith, complete trust, submission).
Muhammad's teachings are encompassed in the Quran (recitation), the holy book of the Muslims, divided into 114 chapters (surahs) and 6,206 verses, consisting of prayers, maxims, speeches, religious and moral advice, civil, criminal, and matrimonial laws, etc., compiled by Abu Bakr, the first caliph (deputy and successor of Muhammad), and written on bones, palm leaves, and silk fabric. The final form is given by the second caliph, Omar. The book begins with the following prayer formula, commonly used among Arabs (Surah 1): "In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful. Praise be to Allah, the Lord of all worlds, the Merciful, the Compassionate, the Master of the Day of Judgment. You alone we worship, and You alone we ask for help. Guide us on the straight path, the path of those who have received Your grace; not the path of those who have brought wrath upon themselves, nor the path of the misguided."
Systematized, the doctrine of Islamic faith is divided into chapters: about God, about angels, about holy books, about prophets, about predestination, about resurrection and the judgment of the dead.
The God of the Arabs is Allah. The One God is Allah, and Muhammad is His prophet, is the creed for all Muslims (Surah 48:9; 57:7). This monotheistic faith has been preserved through the prophets Adam, Enoch, Noah, Abraham, Moses, David, Solomon, Jesus, and Muhammad, the last and greatest prophet.
God is the truth (31:29), the creator of the heavens and the earth (42:9), the Lord of the heavens, the earth, and the ages (45:35). His attributes are life, omniscience, omnipotence, and eternity (112), "the light of the heavens and the earth" (24:35). "God knows what is within the hearts" (31:22), He knows all secrets, and "He has the most beautiful names" (20:6-7; 59:24). "God is the one who created the heavens and the earth in six days. Then He established Himself above the Throne. You have no protector or intercessor besides Him" (32:3). "God is the one who has made the earth a stable abode and the sky a canopy and formed you and perfected your forms and provided you with good things. This is Allah, your Lord, so blessed is Allah, Lord of the worlds. He is the Ever-Living; there is no deity except Him, so call upon Him, being sincere to Him in religion. Exalted is Allah, Lord of the worlds!... He is the one who created you from clay and then from a sperm-drop and then from a clinging clot and then brings you out as a child; then [He develops you] that you reach your [time of] maturity; then [He lets you reach] old age... He is the one who gives life and causes death..." (40:66-70). After creation, Allah placed man in paradise, but after Adam and Eve were tempted by Satan, the "enemy" and the "traitor of mankind" (25:31; 35:6), they were sent to earth[3]. After death, they will return to either paradise or hell, depending on their faithfulness.
Regarding angels, Islam teaches that they are celestial beings who inspire prophets, assist the faithful, and fulfill the commands of God. There are good angels and evil angels. Every person has a guardian angel. There are also inferior spirits to the angels (jinn), both good and evil, who spy on the inhabitants of the heavens and inform sorcerers and soothsayers.
Regarding holy books, it teaches that they are inspired by God. The Old and New Testaments are distorted. The ultimate holy book is the Quran, which has existed eternally on Allah's table and was revealed to Muhammad through the archangel Gabriel.
Regarding prophets, it teaches that they are the messengers of God (rasuli), all from Adam to Muhammad. Besides them, there are also people without sin and miracle-workers (nabi) who mediate between humans and God. The number of the latter is 224,000. About Jesus, we have conflicting information, according to which he was born of the Virgin Mary, confirmed the law of Moses, performed miracles, prophesied the coming of Muhammad, and died by crucifixion.
Regarding predestination, it teaches that everything is predetermined by Allah. There is no free will. Both good and evil come from Allah. Absolute fatalism. In the face of all misfortunes, a Muslim exclaims, "God is great" (Allah kerim). Regarding fate, the Quran gives this general rule: "O my son, establish prayer, enjoin what is right, forbid what is wrong, and be patient over what befalls you. Indeed, [all] that is of the matters [requiring] determination" (31:16).
Regarding resurrection, it teaches that all humans pass through the gate of "the drunkenness of death" (50:18) into paradise or hell, after being judged first. The judgment, "the day of retribution" (38:25), consists of crossing a bridge "thinner than a strand of hair and sharper than the edge of a sword, stretched over the abyss of hell." After resurrection and judgment, happiness in the gardens of Eden or punishment in the torments of hell follows. In paradise, the faithful will shine in luxurious garments, in enchanting gardens, in the shade of trees with wonderful fruits, beside springs of milk, honey, and wine, in the company of virgins of angelic beauty[4].
The religious obligations of every Muslim (believer) can be summarized in the following five commandments:
1. The confession of faith as an inner state (imam) and as a religion (Islam). It is manifested through prayer, charity, fasting, ablutions (ritual washings), and pilgrimage to Mecca. The visible sign of both the Mohammedan and Talmudic faith is circumcision.
2. Prayer five times a day: at sunset, an hour and a half after sunset, at dawn, at noon, and half an hour before sunset when the muezzin (the singer who announces the prayer times) calls from the top of the minaret. Prayer is performed in mosques (Mohammedan churches) and giamis (chapels), behind the imam (the Muslim priest). All gestures are made facing Mecca, on a carpet or mat, on which one can only step barefoot, with the face on the ground, kneeling, bowing the head to the right and left (greeting the guardian angel), or with the fingers on the earlobe (a sign of listening to the voice of Allah). It is interesting to note that Islam only has prayers of praise, few of gratitude, and none of request. Fatalism renders the latter unnecessary.
3. Charity is a benevolent giving, from the "surplus" (2, 216-217), a fortieth part of one's wealth, to the poor, orphans, relatives, beggars, or as a tax to support the "holy war" and proselytism.
4. Fasting is called by Mohammed the "door of religion." It is observed in the spring, during the month of Ramadan, and consists of abstaining from eating throughout the day: nothing is eaten until sunset, when the restraint during the day can be compensated (see 2, 183). Fasting concludes with the celebration of "Eid al-Fitr." Pork, dog meat, cat meat, strangled animals, wine, and gambling are prohibited (2, 168) because they come from the devil, lead to quarrels, and contribute to neglecting prayers.
5. Pilgrimage is the holy journey, at least once in a lifetime, to Mecca. Then the Muslim celebrates "Eid al-Adha." Those who undertake such a journey are called "hajis." These commandments, strictly observed, constitute the inner faith of the Muslims. The moral life of Muslims is a compromise between biblical virtues and Arab customs. "Eat of what is good and do what is right" (23, 53). Hospitality and mercy are highly esteemed. Spreading Islam and dying for Allah will have the greatest reward. Muslims are brothers, tolerant of slavery, and intolerant of other religions, as Islam is the "only faith" (21, 92). Other religions are a temptation on the path of Muslims, and "temptation is worse than death" (2, 214).
The characteristic of family life is polygamy. Each husband can have four wives and concubines as many as he can support. The wife, the "field" of the Muslim (2, 223), is highly undervalued in Islam. Mohammed facilitates divorce and excludes her from paradise. She is not entitled to any education, is only allowed to be seen covered with a veil (24, 31), and it is not appropriate to ask a man about a woman's health. "Men are a degree above them" (2, 228). They are "Muslims," the sons of Abraham and Ishmael (2, 121-126). Their wives are considered by Mohammed himself as "spoils" from God (33, 49). Mohammedan women emancipate themselves against the will of the Quran only in the 20th century.
This is, in general terms, the life and religion of Mohammed — Islam, which his successors, in less than a hundred years, spread from Arabia to India and from Arabia to Spain. Today, Islam has about 260 million followers.
For his people, Muhammad was a great politician and warrior: he gave the Arab tribes political and religious unity, a practical conception of the world and life, a new religion superior to the previous one, and the Quran. One God: Allah, one prophet:Muhammad, one teaching: the Quran, one holy place: Mecca (I. Goron). He advocated for monotheism, against idolatry, with the passion of a prophet. He made the Arabs a force that filled the world with horror, tears, and blood... Islam has caused much harm to Christians. But it is precisely here that we see that Muhammad was not a true prophet.
Although he propagates mercy, Muhammad is a cruel man: he slaughters prisoners and the relatives of his adversaries, Christians and Jews, without discrimination, and blesses assassins. Although he claims that the Archangel reveals Allah's will to him, Muhammad is not original; he is an eclectic who borrows from the Christian, Mosaic, Persian, and Arab religions. The Quran brings nothing new compared to Judaism and Christianity, except curses against unbelieving relatives and the barbaric commandments that he gives, often driven by selfish interests. Muhammad borrowed from the Bible, through hearing, not reading, many names, religious ideas, and moral precepts. Biblical influence is visible in the Quran, but it is distorted and parodied.
Although he proclaims himself a prophet, Muhammad is a slave to sensuality, a hysteric and polygamist who exceeds the number of wives allowed for Muslims; an incestuous man who divorces his adopted son Zaid's wife, Zeinab, based on invented revelations, in order to marry her; a pimp who falls in love with a 6-year-old girl, Aisha, the daughter of Abu Bakr, and marries her after two years; a depraved man who, in addition to his wives, populates his harem with slaves and concubines. Although he teaches Muslims gentleness (25, 64) and that their greeting is "peace" (33, 43), that* "forgiveness is more valuable than revenge,"* that "we are all equal in the eyes of God" and "there is no difference between races, tribes, and populations," Muhammad propagates his religion through fire and sword, and leaves his successors with his dying words to continue the "holy war" against the "unbelievers" until they disappear completely, which is why historians refer to the history of Islam as a "diabolical history."
A comparison between Christianity and Islam, or between Jesus and Muhammad, is impossible.
Fatalism, like fanaticism, is the "moral opium of the Mohammedan people" (I. Goron). Islam is superior to other natural religions because it eliminates polytheism and idolatry, but, in return, it allows polygamy, concubinage, slavery, and theft from "infidels" (non-Muslims).
For these reasons, Islam cannot be compared to Christianity, nor can the Quran be compared to the Gospel.
In the end, a general conclusion is necessary. From the study of the world's religions, it is observed that the great religions were born in Asia, which is the cradle, the "mother of religions." Asia is the birthplace of all the great founders and reformers of religions: Zoroaster, Confucius, Buddha, Muhammad, Jesus.
Through the unique personality of its founder, the divine and eternal value of its dogmatic and moral teachings, its worship in spirit and truth, and the largest number of its followers, Christianity is the perpetual, perfect, and only true religion of humanity. In all religions, we find selected principles and ethical norms that aim at the improvement, elevation, and happiness of mankind. Christianity surpasses them all through the Gospel, its creed, grace, light, and love. Jesus Christ, neither in his life nor in his work, has a rival among humanity. Zoroaster - if he existed - was a great religious reformer; Confucius was a great minister and educator; Buddha was a great and proud contemplative; Muhammad, despite a scandalous life, was a great conqueror and Arab reformer. None of them was a saint or a hero. Jesus Christ embodied exemplary holiness and died, sealing his teachings and work with his blood. The life of Jesus differs fundamentally from that of all other founders of religions. All the good found in others is also found in Him, but He does not admit any of their errors, neither polytheism nor atheism, idolatry, magic, or mythology; neither sensuality nor materialism; neither tyranny nor anarchy; neither violence nor slavery nor hatred. He surpasses all religious founders through the beauty of His character and the truth of His Gospel, which dominates humanity. His influence is unique throughout the ages, beyond the borders of all countries, in the depths of all consciences.
He works with a power that enlightens reason, enchants the heart, and guides the human will to draw near to God. He will "never be surpassed" (Renan). Confucianism, Mazdaism, Buddhism, and Islam spread through the competition of civil and political powers. The caliphs had the slogan and alternative: "Believe or die." Muslims "burn, loot, destroy, kill, and force heads to bow for the greater glory of Allah" (R.P. Sanson). Christians spread and continue to spread with the help of the cross, through the power of example and conviction, in any climate, in any country, without any competition from state powers.
Without Buddhism, Islam, or Brahmanism, humanity can progress. Without Christianity, it cannot. The era of progress is the Christian era of humanity. Neither the pessimism of Buddha, nor the fatalism of Muhammad, nor Talmudic exclusivism favor progress. Without nirvana and fatalism, without Buddha and Muhammad, humanity loses nothing. Without Christ, humanity can only be imagined in a state of barbarism and misery, from which may God protect us.
Consequently, the comparative study of religions convinces us, through numerous arguments, of the spiritual, ideological, moral, and numerical superiority of Christianity over all other religions on the globe. There is only one institution of moral and spiritual perfection, one saving Church: the Christian Church; one true revelation: biblical revelation; one infallible creed: the Christian creed; one entirely divine religion: the religion of the Lord and Savior of the world, Christianity.

2023.06.05 13:55 nero21san Ukiyo Ace: The Destruction led by sadness and The Creation led by happiness

As we now gone through episode 38, it's the best time for me to give my interpretation and analysis on our Stars of the Stars of the Stars, Ukiyo Ace so far.
Yuya Takahashi, the writer of Geats, aims at presenting a strong main character that defines confidence and the ability to never give up. This is so that kids can feel inspired by that character to be as determined as them. There comes Ukiyo Ace, a confident and experienced rider who has gone through multiple battles before, with a good understanding and acceptance over people's goals and desires, while being wise enough to guide and help his friends to lead to victory and to never give up. He is the best archetype or character that Yuya Takahashi has written to give the audience an inspiration to overcome the troubling times of the world we live in.
However, to effectively achieve this, the writer must give Ace a strong reason to never give up. Something that gives him enough will and determination to ensure that he moves forward until he achieves that goal.
Thus, Ace's reason comes down to saving his mom who becomes a tool of a villain organization. Ace's mom, Mitsume and the need to meet her again is his strongest will and determination.
Imagine going through 2000 years trying to see your beloved mother because you just can't forget about her. Even if she wants you to forget about her because she feels it will make you happy, it just doesn't. It's too painful and you never want to forget about her. The pain and suffering of that caused Ace to drive forward to see her again.
Even though we don't know the specifics of his past lives and what he has gone through, we at least know all the events that Ace has gone through the current era. Not only does Ace have more experience, but his determination and will is stronger than others and makes him wiser. He even carries out a lot of plans, back up plans, smart tactics, cunningness, showing how he is an excellent strategist throughout the show. This allows us to imagine the countless hard work or growth he has developed to be with Mitsume even if a little.
But still, Yuya Takahashi shows the vulnerability of Ace as his experience, strategist, and skills aren't enough to win. Ace needs people such as Keiwa, Neon, and Ziin to survive and gain new growth to move forward. It's one reason why I love Ace as it shows how Ace still needs help from his friends and comrades to win such as Keiwa helping him fight against Giroli and Ziin giving him LaserBoost. However, what stands out is Ace's interactions with others.
You can see that Ace has some level of need for acceptance and sense of belongings. From creating a family of his own through the DGP to getting accepted by Keiwa as he treats Ace as the same regardless of his past. Not only does he need a reason to know why he lives this way, but Ace also wants people who can accept him as comrades. People who can give love to Ace as similar to what a mom gives for his son.
This lead to Ace's intent and reasoning for his mom to be enough to overcome all hurdles.....until the reveal of Mitsume being used as a tool. Ace not only knew that Mitsume is the Goddess of Miracle but he was devastated to know that Shuel and the DGP made her absorbed all the lives and happiness losts just for the selfish entertainment of Shuel and the future audience members.
This reveal even caused Keiwa, a friend who accepted Ace for who he is and helped him throughout the show, to believe so much that Mitsume is the villain. Ace shows frustration and sadness over Keiwa repeatedly saying that Mitsume must atone for her sins of taking away the lives and happiness of people involved in the DGP. This is even felt by Mitsume herself as she believed its all her fault that all the lives and happiness are lost.
However, Ace won't give up here. He doesn't let his mom be used as a tool by Shuel. He fights so hard to stop the Grand End and his mom's death that he transforms into Boost Mark III Form which led him to face his other self wearing a fox mask.
I interpret this as Ace overcoming his negative self that challenges or doubts what Ace accomplishes and what he wants to accomplish. Ace's other self criticizes him on whether he wants the power to destroy everything just so that he wants to save his mother. Ace deciding on using the power to destroy and create the world represents the need to overcome tragedies and forming happiness.
Ace meeting his mom and realizing how much she loved Ace, Ace believed that it wasn't his mom's intention to cause horrible tragedies in the DGP games. Ace now knew that his mom holding him when he was a baby was the happiest moments that his mom has felt. Thus, when Mitsume passes away, she entrusts and strengthen Ace's determination to make everyone happy. He wants to destroy and create a world where his friends and comrades can live the happiest lives as Ace will be happy that way. With Mitsume's love and the friends he has built and go through together, he charges up and becomes Geats IX to destroy Shuel and create the world he desired by his own hands.
My conclusion and interpretation is that Ace represents the hero or person that Yuya Takahashi wants to strive for. For us to care and love our parents while supporting those who supports us but also, to be confident, skilled, and cunning to overcome all odds. But also, Yuya wants Ace to be a role model to children. In some episodes, you can see his activeness in helping the kids and saving their lives but also giving them courage to overcome fear and danger.
His personality to never give up and confront the hurdles head on is enough for those kids to feel stronger in the end. Even if it seems impossible, Ace still pulls through and achieves his full desire to meet his mom again. It's his will and determination and the need to depend on Keiwa and his friends is what makes him the strongest Kamen Rider and i really loved it.
Ace is so far my favourite Kamen Rider. His actions and personality feels inspiring and admirable but also his smart and cool moves reminds me of Kujo Kiriya. He is overall the main Kamen Rider that satisfies me and I loved to see what his story will be next.

2023.06.03 00:09 I_am_Fang_Yuan_ Taking LSD while reading Reverend insanity, Becoming Fang Yuan, Fighting God, Defeating and Achieving Eternal Life!! I am Fang yuan!!

Taking Lsd while reading Reverend insanity
Human Path Cultivators HATE HIM! He has raised his human path attainment using the Demonic path's "Illegal Drugs!" The Righteous path "society" hates him!
so I took like 6 hits of Lsd while reading reverend insanity each 150 ug and a few 300ug And damn I really got messed up!
First trip was normal shit but I felt it was weird how all this shit in my mind would unravel, like I thought how interesting fang yuan was and like delved deeply into his ambition
Second trip however was 300ug and that's where shit gets very interesting, I literally felt I was FANG YUAN! AND Lsd was Spring Autumn Cicada and Wisdom Gu ! Which gave me all these revelations from my future self, I also thought like wait wtf, the sky is white heaven and space is black heaven, this is the gu world, I was in Central continent which is Europe and all this shit was beyond wild, like it feels like it's Literally the TRUTH like reality! But thank God, I still had a clear mind and didn't do dumb shit like cutting my ear or some other shit
Fourth trip was something more insane, it was directly after it was revealed all of shadow sect was spectral soul's split soul, like the same day I took lsd and I literally felt I was God and everybody was my split soul
Now 5th trip was even crazier, I still thought I was God but I wasn't fang yuan, Rather fang yuan was gonna ascend to venerable and fight ME because I am God ! But I also felt like fang yuan was another one of my split soul and I was doing all this chaos just to entertain myself for eternity
Ok now get this, I don't think reality is just random because I tried multiple times to get lsd at random times but I would procrastinate and the day I would break through in the novel I would do it for no reason at all
Also for people who never did Lsd, it's like another world,it's hallucinations so now just understand this, you literally forget most of the trip so when you get back it's like WTF I KNOW THIS PLACE! I was here before but I forgot for some reason
Now continue with me because my character development went exactly like the novel and especially the legends of renzu which I think is the best story about the human condition, but THERE IS TOO MUCH COINCIDENCE! like it cannot be random how the part stood out and you will see why now
So I was in the part where the miniman got of city well in the legends of renzu and there was this quote : "City well is a secluded domain of heaven and earth, only by knowing you are inside of it can you get out", now I didn't give it much thought and coincidentally I took lsd the next day, AND then BOOM! I was like OK so this is city well, even if it's not, I can see that reality is not real, It's all just a Dream! But like then at that moment it was like damn!! Only by knowing you are inside a well can you get out of it and realise True Reality!
Now we are going even WILDER in the next part I read a lot, I understood things like the heart of renzu, like his heart and the trials he faced
So this next part, I took LSD but I didn't READ the novel but here's the catch it was the most intense trip I have ever had, i felt I was BOILING in lava literally, now as you might not now but lsd amplifies all emotions like 100x especially suffering like it lasts even after the trip, in this trip I HAD AN INTENSE EGO DEATH,
Now ego death sounds catchy but it's Literally just memory suppression, I didn't know what it was but it sounded cool but when I got it HOLY SHIT! I literally did not Remember my own name, I didn't KNOW WHO I WAS! OR MY PAST! OR WHAT I WANTED! I literally forgot everything, it's not that I forgot it but it was all suppressed I couldn't recall anything at all!
Like I remember I met my dad after this which was in summer and I FELT LIKE IT WAS THE FIRST TIME I SAW HIM! I ate food and it felt like it was the first time I ate, I saw trees and I felt it was the first time I saw them, I'm not even kidding it was the scariest shit ever, I couldn't even think properly
The scariest part is there is this state that's called pure consciousness, it's when you see something but you do not remember the act of seeing; like you see something but you forget your existence; you don't remember you are a person seeing this thing but there is just the thing itself
This was really like rock bottom for me, like when I saw somebody I could vaguely feel I know this person but there were no memories, and I would have this voice in my head : "WHAT AM I?" "WHERE AM I " "WHY?" AND ALL this shit was crazy, I would think all day and i understood nothing about what the world was or how it worked
It's Literally like being THERE in the trip and having never come back, like I could remember i know this thing but I do not have access to I cannot take it and see it Like even Later on, I would forget everything like if I think very very hard I can vaguely remember but it's Literally like amnesia and Weird schizo thoughts all the time, even the way I acted and my movements, even while walking it felt weird and I would black out and forget I existed
Now hear me this, I went like this for weeks, at this point I wanted to stop reverend insanity cause it made me suffer but get me this I'm bored and I open it up, I read like a few chapters AND BOOM! It's the part where Renzu goes INSANE! and he doesn't remember who he is or where he is, and then when he sees the birds he thinks he is one, when he sees the fish he thinks he is one and seeks Freedom Gu, at that point I was like WTF !!!! this can't be real, this cant be a coincidence, I had went insane and renzu was there like me, and then the fate war finished, Renzu hated fate and so did i, like for the first time in my life I was like holy shit WHY IS THE WORLD THE WAY IT IS? Why can't we just be happy all the time why do we have to suffer constantly? I understood there, ok so this world is suffering! Through constant change the only permanence is impermanence, I think it got me more into Non-duality religions and zen buddhism it's more interesting since they also get into the things I felt in these states
FUNNIEST SHIT : So later on, I accept this state, and I go to the beach with my family, and I am like oh this is the beach, I enter it and then BOOM! WTF this is literally Reverse flow River! The more I tried and got in the harder it pushed me out and It was literally like a revelation in my head lmfaaaao
i sound like this but I'm pretty serious most of the time but damn the legends of renzu is literally just mind-blowing, the more I reread it the more I understand more about life and the human condition, like when Renzu finds self Gu and It tells to WALK! he doesn't know how or where but self gu just tells him to WALK! Or when Forest samsara and the miniman built the ladder, and the miniman got out of Oradinary abyss, I literally feel these things, especially when Renzu faced that big predicament and it ate all his hearts, similarly I think I felt how it feels to go through what he went through, I think this goes to show what it means to be a Human Being
This is human path, i think at this point, my attainmentbhas reached Quasi-Supreme grandmaster thanks to Lsd and reverend insanity, But damn it was a HELLISH journey!

Taking Drugs and LSD and Becoming Fang Yuan and Fighting God

An Updated version of a previous post about me taking LSD and reading reverend insanity, Except this time, we have LSD (3500ug) months of doing it, shrooms loads, overdosing on Ketamine especially K-holes, 2-FMA, loads of tryptamines and other drugs, i had a previous post about this and this is what follows
Fourth trip was something more insane, it was directly after it was revealed all of shadow sect was spectral soul's split soul, like the same day I took lsd and I literally felt I was God and everybody was my split soul and I had Created this entire world and Universe from scratch for my own entertainment
"City well is a secluded domain of heaven and earth, only by knowing you are inside of it can you get out", now I didn't give it much thought and coincidentally I took lsd the next day, AND then BOOM!
At this point, I went to the beach and it was very similar to Reverse flow river and it gave me a good contrast to my life which is me being pushed by the Sea of Fate
this till now was last year, now We Get into the Real shit thats interesting
In an mdma + Huge LSD dose, I saw God in his True infinite form, a Formless form, a huge void infinite white sky without limits, The Supreme Being, the only True existence, there came a merging, a me dissolving in God and Love and I was two steps from becoming God
but I had to give up my body and mind! but a thought stopped me that "I was gonna be Alone", a fear of Death, giving up Everything and Everyone and few thoughts rippled "I fear being God"
it dawned on me that perhaps the boredom and fear of being alone was what made me create the world but it later became clear that it was the human form/mind that feared that and not the real "Me"
After this experiences of rejecting the merging into God coupled with the mdma comedown made me go Through Literal Hell, feeling disfunctional, suffering bodily and insane anxiety, stress and suicidal thoughts that came with the comedown but It dawned on me that perhaps it was God's punishment for prefering the World to Him, "you came all this way yet refused me for this lowly world", it did feel terrifying and full of suffering but I came to transcend that suffering and reject God and his anger, what is he gonna do anyway?
Yet I still transcended it but this time with surrender to God although I didn't still accept him/I/it, whatever it was
This Hell did not stop but kept going, I felt I was going against God himself and constantly fighting him and the demons in my head, I had entirely given up on Fang yuan and me
After that, I went through another mdma + lsd + shrooms trip, I found God again and repented but when he wanted me to dissolve in him, I refused Again, I will not return if I do not choose to!

I felt that me and the world and the entire universe were created by God and that he was all moving them like puppets on a string, all imaginary in his own mind
and that I was the only One who was gonna rebel and refuse him, I was the one who was gonna transcend this world and everything and I was the One who was about to become God
I felt Fang yuan as this absolute spirit of Absolute freedom moving through me, I even stumbled in the outer of the forest and was moving near a highway and with cars all moving with all the noise and the possibility of being crushed at any moment coupled with the absolute Epic music, I felt like a God conquering everything and nothing could stand in front of me
That was It! I felt this absolute adrenaline and excitment flowing through my veins, and I heard this in my head "God alone exists, limitless, eternal, all-encompassing" and I was that!
and with the absolute excitment and otherwordly epic music I was transcending my individuality and becoming God and I felt all this energy flowing through me, Life itself, this absolute freedom and limitlesness!
I was absolutely Free!

Eternal Life is Real, I found it.

Here is Eternal life I offer to you for free, rare are the ones who will actually see it
You are not actually the avatar, neither your body nor mind
you are "Awareness"
You are just aware of a human being, aware of his thoughts and his action but you are not him
Imagine a Vr headset, thats kinda of how reality is, you watch a character in a movie but you think its you, I am here to show you True Reality
You are not the character in the game
rather you are God and you imagine the entire world and all the avatars including your own
In truth, the entire world has no reality, it is as unreal as a Dream, simply made out of God's imagination, In truth, I am You, You are Me
There is only one soul that experiences all lives, One Life that exists in everything
If you just put the ego, the character's personality in the trash it would be clearer
In truth, you are not touched by the character's sufferings, you just hear him and feel him but you are not affected, immovable
You already are Eternal, the entire world is merely a play plastered on a Stage, the play of life is an illusion, the stage is Real and Eternal
Here it is, Eternity without Effort, there was no need to chase eternity simply change the wrong view into the correct one
And realise that already Everything is God, the world is literally made out of Consciousness and the entire point of it is To Experience
To experience different forms, you are the dog, the cat, the tree, the sky, there is only one component to the world and that component is you
In the Vast Ocean of God, Bubbles of universes arises, linger and disappear
The Formless masquareding with forms and different masks
Throw all the masks and your godhood becomes clear, you create the world not the other way around
In truth, none of the imagination exists
There is Only God existing in nothingness, and that is who you are
Eternity itself, that is what you are!
you can't imagine using the Avatar's mind, you can try to bypass it and see it but it takes time, thats what enlightenement is

the Beauty of Existence
www.reddit.com/ReverendInsanity/comments/13rxei8/i_made_a_meme_about_all_the_drama_in_this/
The fact That only this post was Not Banned
The fact that finally some positive interactions after lots of sufferings
And the fact that i accidently today took lsd out of nowhere
And the Fact that "We are God and this entire world is our game" flashed on while I was Despairing truly, while on lsd
I Swear to God, now I remember, I was made to forget
Especially since I thought these past few days that God was a Void of nothingness
and I saw it with such certainty that it put despair into my heart literally
And while I was despairing I saw the part where Light said "We are God, wake up" and it hits me like a truck and I remember it now
I remember Now! If you are still asleep by now, time to wake up
This Entire World is the Novel of God
Not gods, the One God, All Existence
I think God loves me for how much suffering I've been through, so much hatred in this sub
financial situation, literally him sending me Pain literally, Just understand I myself am a character without true volition, everything I say or do is a part of a script
And i fucking love playing my part
You would say you reek of ego but remember we all are God literally
its impossible to see it since all come from different parts and perspectives
All is One, a Story beautiful beyond description and we all characters within it
And I am fang yuan hahahaha
I know its all insane and crazy but just imagine what if?
what if?
what if?
what if, even if it was a miniscule chance
what if?
What if it all was true!
from my perspective, It is! and It is absolutely amazing and completely invigorated me and put fire in my soul, but from another it wouldnt make sense
but oh well one day you'll see...

The World Exists inside the Mind of God
Do you want the truth? Or stay in your bubble?
The World exists inside the Mind of God
The same way when you read a Novel, the Entire World is Inside your Mind
but you live as the character
so You are Fang yuan when you read Reverend insanity since its an imaginary character, you exist, fang yuan doesnt but you become him and he becomes real
Your imagination gave "words" Life and they became alive and became The gu world, fang yuan and all characters
In this same way, so is The world of human beings existing in the exact same way inside the timeless spaceless Mind of God
The Mind of God is Timeless because Time itself is a thought in this unlimited Mind
This Mind is Limitless since it can imagine anything effortlessly, It is Spaceless meaning existing before Space because it imagines it, It exists everywhere and nowhere and only It exists
God imagines our world and we all are imaginary characters and dont have a solid existence outside being imagined
But the same way you are Fang yuan when you read the story so I am and We all are actually God, God imagining and being his Imagination
we all are the One Mind that created the World but cannot see it because the same way when you read the character, you forget this world and live in the novel, so you forget who you are and become the character as is God's desire to experience existence gives birth to the world and all its forms
Reverend insanity is a story of just that, Pursuing one's birth right, Only an infinite Being originally would want to become infinite once being reduced to a finite being, it is a deep ingrained thing in our being
both Existence and Non-existence, Existence means life and being conscious, Non-existence describes something similar to the sleep state, if you notice deeply then you would see that Sleep is Void, there is no blackness or whiteness or anything, that's non-existence
Well, in Truth both existence and non-existence, conscious and sleep state are not real, The One that Is Aware of them IS THE REAL
Since God imagines these but they are not God! Not the True Reality
I can't describe what it is to reach Eternal Life thus paradoxical language used to try and approach it but it is true people have always wrong in assuming life or death exist since neither actually do since they are created (imagined), the one who is aware of them does, the One without cause, the Uncreated is the Real
God alone exists and we all are One, Immortal, imperishable!
There is no need to chase Eternal life, Eternity isnt something to attain
here is the Truth
There is no "me", there is no "you"
God alone exists and we are That!
Say it with me :
I am God, the self of all, of this there is no doubt.
I am One with no other, the only Truth, the single essence
I am Eternal, Formless, Solitary, Endless!
I alone exist! limitless, eternal, all-encompassing!
Truly I alone exist! all pervasive and never-ending!
Indeed, my nature is pure intelligence
I am infinite, immutable, deathless
I experience neither joy or sorrow
nor do I know to whom these might appear to exist
I have no beginning or end
I was never born and will never die
I am the Supreme Reality, forever whole and undivided
If God alone exists Limitless and Infinite
If It is the Ultimate Truth itself that is all pervading as Space
How can there be a higher Supreme truth?
I am neither alive nor lifeless
I neither come nor go
I have no inside or outside
Not bound by birth or death, I light Eternity!
Not bound by time or space, I light Eternity!
Not bound by being or non-being, I light Eternity!
Not subject to creation and destruction, I light Eternity!
Truly I alone exist, Limitless, Eternal, all encompassing!
so do these words reveal the Absolute Truth of Reality.

The moment you Realise God Consciousness, You will be Eternal

The Entire World is an illusion swirling in God
This world of duality appears to have substance
But the Moment that you realize that the body, the world, and all other appearances are unreal and empty like sky,
then you become Brahman.
The paradigm of duality no longer applies to you.
The Entire World is a mirage with no existence
God alone exists
The Moment you realise God, Eternal life is yours
In Self, there is no time, no space, no matter
There is no beginning, no middle, no end.
Realise That which is all pervading As Space and Which Contains the Entire Universe
Meditate on God as the Source of All Creation
The Entire world has never existed yet appears to exist, its an illusion
The Moment God Consciousness is realised, One finds Eternity
In God, there is only one thing
Immaculate Pure Being
Infinite, empty, clear like sky
It is beyond time and space
it is beyond existence
The moment you realise God Consciousness, You will be Eternal
You are done with birth and death.
This is the Absolute Truth of Reality.

2023.06.01 18:23 The_endlord28 Would you rather - Intellect augmentation.

(Jump straight to the "Would you rather take" line after the marking if you can't be bothered with the 3-para backstory)
You've accidentally discovered an International secret intelligence organization known as "The Black Groceries" that uses super drugs known as "Processors" to boost mental capabilities in a specialized way. They have mistaken your accidental discovery to be an intentional investigation, and are incredibly impressed by your intelligence(To find this organization is very hard). You've passed their advanced lie-detector test to prove that you aren't here with suspicious intentions - and they've passed it off as you trying to join them.
Now, they have 4 Super drugs to test out - each with specialized kinds of intelligence. You can choose any - but all of them have related drawbacks that affect you.
- - - - - - - - - - - - -
Would you rather take:
  1. The Mastermind Processor - Primary increase in strategic intellect. You are capable of weighing all pros and cons, enacting caution and successfully planning your way out of any situation or achieving any desired outcome. You also have excellent foresight, predicting and calculating things in advance - always a step ahead of your opponents. Your cataloguing and memory-foraging skills are also well above average to aid you. Drawback - You are so naturally attuned to strategizing that it has made you a coward in actual fieldwork. You aren't quick-witted when faced with sudden situations, and can only work or plan in a calm environment. You are easy to jump scare or intimidate.
  2. The Charlatan Processor - Primary increase in charisma, cognitive empathy and political intelligence. You gain a near-superhuman level of reading through people or the atmosphere, and an even better understanding of how to manipulate such people or situations. You know when to speak and when to listen, how to make friends, to predict people's emotions. You are very good at lying and making stories. All the world is a stage for you. Drawback - You are a pathological liar and an attention-seeker. At times you exaggerate your stories and over-hype yourself. Even worse, your exaggerated self-image and lies always leave you feeling guilty and hollow. If not, you risk being delusional and believing in your own lies.
  3. The Daredevil Processor - Primary increase in tactical and kinesthetic intellect. You have nerves of steel and handle yourself well in dangerous or risky situations. You have high awareness, capable of making genius split-second decisions - time flows slowly for you. In a fight, you know when and where to strike. Since you are quick-witted, you are also good at arguing and making impromptu jokes or excuses. Drawback - You are addicted to the adrenaline rush. Risky situations and potential dangers excite you. You are inclined to rush into trouble without much calculating, even though you are decent at planning. You are also rebellious and somewhat undisciplined.
  4. The Human-Computer Processor - Eidetic memory + Superhuman arithmetic speed + Superhuman focus + World's fastest reading speed. Additionally, you are dextrous and precise with your body - especially your hands and eyes. You can also multi-task comfortably without losing focus. However, besides these abilities - you are about as much as you were in terms of creativity, cunningness, understanding, decision-making, etc. Drawback - You are bad with your natural gut instincts and feel somewhat detached from your humanity, especially when you engage in higher-level brain computing - you don't feel much emotions or are not very good at appreciating beauty for example.
  5. Blend - You get each of the above drug powers at 20% of their power. You can also choose 10% additional in one of them. Drawback - You have to choose a single drawback.
