I've been thinking about which real-world practices/skills/hobbies etc. would act as minor rituals of each of the Principles. Ways an adept might venerate their chosen belief in small, daily ways. Some thoughts:
Winter - Meditation, all the way. The principle is all about stillness and acceptance, and is even present in the Tranquility card, giving this in-game justification.
Lantern - Method of Loci. A practice near and dear to my heart. Quite literally imagining a house to gain knowledge - it's nearly one-for-one with the Mansus.
Forge - Exercise, weightlifting. Forging a better body with iron and steel and effort. Honestly a lot of self-improvement stuff would fall under Forge.
Edge - Exercise, martial arts. To struggle. To hurt. To fight. To win.
Grail - Mindful Eating. Bringing attention to tastes, and in doing so, deepening their sweetness. >Also masturbation but you knew that<
What practices would you consider sacred to a Principle, and the Hours that preside over them?

Looking for people to chill, talk, play games together whatever, I have a dark sense of humor so if you don't like dark humor please move on, the games I be playing at the moment are among us, helldivers, baldurs gate, roblox, dragonball xenoverse 2, deep rock galactic, minecraft dungeons, and I would be down to download any games to play except fortnite or cod, not much of a pvp guy these days but I will play certain games, send a message for an add no one under age 18 up please and thank you

This is normal now and it was even more important in middle ages. Some of the works are seasonal and was it was preferred to be done during specific season for multiple reasons.

• Field work - it is important to plow field at specific time or there will be nothing to gather
• Cutting trees - unless you made a charcoal, trees were cut during a winter time. Not only as you did not have to work on fields but also because quality of wood was better as the wood was more dry.
• Cobblers and well honestly most of the craftsmen even in medium sized medieval cities were primary farmers. They were working on the secondary craft when there was no work on fields, quite often during a winter.

I think game would benefit from implementing something like this. That seasonal change should happen instead of strict work assignment.

I’m replaying FO4 with magnum opus and using a controller.
I had to disable VAFS Redux (by enabling vats debug in mod config), because I can’t use the key bindings necessary on a controller.
The game seems incredibly difficult even on easy - I’ve been dying constantly in the first few hours.
1) ammo shortage - I seem to run out of ammo quite easily and can’t find much
2) accuracy - I seem to be missing nearly every shot in vats
3) AP drain - I rarely have enough AP to use vats
4) health - Im killed within a few shots
I found some mod config for weapon damage and after tuning that it’s a little better. Has anyone i) noticed this and ii) found settings that work nicely on controller? Maybe there’s a better mod pack? I’m a little worried VAFS redux is still messing with things like AP.

Lesson learned do not take book suggestions from TikTok. First Rebecca Yarrow and now this. I kept waiting for it to get amazing which is what everyone kept telling me would absolutely happen. I was deceived!!!!. It just became a hate read for me after the first couple of books. Why was it so frickin long?????. I swear it could have been reduced by at least one book if every single instance of "throat bobbing" was removed 🤦🏻‍♀️.
Ok rant over. Please help me! I need to get back to my usual well written, epic fantasy realm. But I'm also not sure if I can commit to another huge series unless it's amazing and not going to be a slog. Please give me some suggestions. It doesn't have to be a crazy series or anything super complex. Equally happy with amazing standalone books etc.

I have never made it to the end of Wheel of Time. Debating restarting that but it's such a bloody commitment. Should I do that?

I'm a hammer main MR20 HR60 since the earlier days of my playtime. And yesterday, a chargeblade user that I joined to help out had me really fed up.
Team was consisted of 1 CB and 3 hammers, and as you can tell, it was kinda chaotic whenever the monster fell since everybody wants to hit the head. And I'm totally fine with it when only hammer user is me(lets get real, people don't really care what 1 guy in their team uses) or they don't break my combos very often. But this time was different, we had 3 hammers, that CB guy must've realized the 3 bonk guys.
And yet(and I'm not exaggerating) he continuously kept throwing 3 us in the air whenever the monster fell on the ground. First time was fine, I kindly asked him to just aim for the tail and let us have the head, then came the second and third and so on, you get the idea. Not only he never switched target, he whined about how the monster is so stupidly strong and all that.
My hunter in christ, god sent you the holy trinity but you've chosen death. It's not the game's fault...

Do you usually just play through the stages for the fun of them without caring about getting the star coins, or do you usually get all of the star coins in the New Super Mario Brothers games?

I started this season in G1, climbed to E2 but in the past 3 days dropped to Plat3. I want to say I’ve been getting the most mentally ill junglers I’ve ever seen in 8 years of playing but I know it’s just in my head. I couldn’t understand what’s happening so out of frustration last game I just threw my mouse at rhe wall and it broke to pieces and damaged my wall too, which I paid a good amount for. I behaved like a kid.
I want to switch from top to jungle and relearn the game all-over again. I’ve been playing for 8 years and I was plat most seasons but I want to swallow my pride and relearn everything from scratch. Where do I start?

I went into the game with the impression that synths were just mindless killing machines, so I believed Danse’s, and later Maxsons rhetoric about them blindly. However, I randomly stumbled on the railroad and their viewpoint made a lot of sense. I started questioning who is truly right, as I know absolution is required for the ending on what to do regarding the synths. On one hand, synths are dangerous, but on another, they can be people too. Man I love this games. Bethesda cooked.

My friend (let’s call her Lana) was engaged to be married to the father of her child who at that time was already 7 – they’ve been in a long term relationship and they decided it was high time to tie the knot as they were stable enough to afford a wedding and both their families expected it would come to that point. Lana was hands on during the entire wedding preparation to make sure that all will go smoothly. From the gowns, to the venue, the motif, the songs, everything was set in place.
The night before the wedding, at around 9 ish, I received a call from Lana – I already had a feeling of uncertainty before I answered but I tried to keep that intuition to myself, upon picking up I told her she should be getting her beauty rest to prepare for the next day and she asked if we could meet up and she was already close to where I lived so I went to see her.
She was sitting on an empty area when I spotted her and as I walk towards her I could tell from the look on her face that something was off. The usual cheerful smile wasn’t there, she was staring at nothing, in deep thought and I didn’t think she even noticed I was already there.
I sat beside her and asked what’s going on. She looks at me a bit teary eyed and told me straight up that she’s in love with someone else. I was in shock because I hadn’t seen it coming. Took me a few minutes to let that sink in before I started to ask the 4Ws and 1H. She never told anyone except me, she kept it hidden really good as none of us had no clue that she was in fact having an affair with a colleague who was also married. I know the guy and based on my interactions with this 3rd party, it was nothing more than at a professional level – at the office, nothing was there to indicate that they had something going on.
Lana goes on to tell me that it just happened, that the closeness grew into something and they started to clandestinely go on dates and made sure to do it when the sun goes down and drive to far places, mostly their dates were within the four corners of the car, the dark areas of the beach and places where most crowd do not visit. They made sure no suspicion arouse so they kept it as professional as they could at work but had this secret line of communication via texts and chats. She also did confess that she fell out of love for her fiancé long before the affair but she didn’t want to break her family apart.
Fiance was clueless as his work was in night shift, trusted her completely and was assured thinking they had a child and she would never cheat on him. According to Lana, 3rd party was sure he would never leave his wife and kids for her – he knows she’s getting married and still wants to pursue whatever affair they have if she decides to but is also willing to end it if she wants to. I laid out all the possible consequences and scenarios.
Past midnight she decided she will end her affair because she doesn’t want her child to grow up in a broken home or without her parents being together, and she will wear that gown and proceed with the wedding. That same time she ended her affair via a call, assuring me she’ll be fine, that she already made her choice before sending me home.
Next day, I had to put on a smile and go the church and on the way there it was already gloomy, the skies were dark and when I got to the church I didn’t feel that sort of happiness everyone around me were probably feeling, I didn’t mention it to anyone – not even our friends, I kept her secret with me. Now everyone was inside the church, took our places and the wedding song was supposed to play but the sound system had a technical error leading to the wedding singer to sing in acapella. I watched as she walked and we stared at each other, I didn’t blink nor did she until her eyes filled with tears and while everyone thought it was because of happiness, we both knew it was the total opposite. There were other technical interruptions during the entire process and when it was time for picture taking, the rest of the guests proceeded to the venue while we stayed to assist and somewhere down the aisle a small fire from the candles started to ignite and everyone rushed to put if off. Chaos already ensued but everyone was trying to turn a blind eye – including me. I had mixed emotions to be honest because in reality it was not easy to be the bearer of knowing the truth.
So we proceed to the venue – it was by the pool side on a roof top and after the meal as they were about to dance, the gush of wind came sweeping the venue, the rain fell, projector fell, plates were broken, the flowers were all over and the staff had to evacuate the people to safety. It was the weather going against the wedding but I had to play my part, I consoled the crying bride along with other friends and while everyone was trying their best to keep it merry as well for the groom. They had to shift us to an empty hall as we waited for the rain to stop – I don’t know if considering to check the weather forecast was considered during the preparation but knowing what I knew, I kinda’ felt it was some sort of a sign.
I left when everyone was safe and Lana needed to sleep as she obviously did not have any sleep at all the night before. I walked under the rain going home with a stem of a dying red rose on my hand – it was fresh but somehow it was withering too fast. I threw it over my balcony when I reached home and never wore that dress ever again.
Lana and her then husband decided to settle in another country with their child, they tried to make it work for a good 2 years without him knowing about the affair and how she really felt and we lost contact, she took down all her social media and a year after she came back and figured I’d still have the same number and we went for coffee.
She wasn’t wearing any ring and I asked the obvious and she told me it didn’t work out because they outgrew each other, they weren’t willing to compromise and always argued about finances so they decided to end it. To my surprise, Lana told me that when she went to proceed for divorce she found out that their marriage back then was never legally filed thus technically there was no reason to divorce as both of them were still single. How it happened, I don’t know but I guess it was both their saving grace.
Although it happened years ago, I still think from time to time if I was the Ah* for not saying anything to the guy? Was it wrong to keep what I knew back then? To this day, we kept that secret within the 2 of us, as for the 3rd party – he worked things out with his wife, they’re still together and still happily married.
Lana has found her match and is happily in a relationship but doesn’t consider getting married anytime soon. Ex husband or boyfriend is also currently dating someone, co-parenting is their game and they both make sure to put their kid first before anything else.

Ive been having freezing during my gaming only happens with all games. I’ve taken my pc to geek squad 3 times now cause there not fixing my issue. There saying it has something to do with game files or running max settings but it happens with every game I play they say it’s not hardware but I feel like it is. They also say that it didn’t freeze for them the whole time (3 hours they played) but I dropped it off at 1 and they said it was done at 4:30…. You think there lying? I don’t know what to do. Any advice?

The problem is, there's only 9 Alphans in this game. 3 Alphan, 3 White Layer, 1 Foolish Burial, 1 Emergency Teleport, and 1 One for One. That's is some absolutely terrible consistency. The most essential card in the deck is only at a 9 instead of a 12 or 15.
I filled the deck with all the deck thinners but I really hate Performapal Popperup and One Day of Peace. The former hurts too much (I know LP is irrelevant) and a decent number of AI decks use Ash Blossom, and the latter helps the opponent.
I came up with a lot of tricks. Like a Super Quantal XYZ into Gravity Binder to enable World Legacy Succession which summons Blue Layer which searches something, but all of them start with Fairy Alphan.I don't know. Predaplant Engine is banned in Link Evolution, and I got squat for ideas.
Any tips? Any at all?
